MAX'S POV

"Alex calm down"

"it is ALPHA ALEX to you"

Yeah this is definitely his wolf talking but why is he so angry? As I am thinking all the  times I have messed up in my life I hear him growl

"I said where is she? Why was she with you ? Why is her scent in your pocket?

Wait he said scent in my pocket does he men Athena? As I withdraw slowly the paper in which Athena has write down her phone number with no intention to anger him any more. But as soon as he sees the paper in my hand he is running to me I was shock that my own Alpha would attack me so I had no time to move before he pushed me in the face and scratch the paper from my hand , after he had taken it he looked at what it was written in it and frown one of the most scariest frown I have seen in my life actually.

Why would she give you her number? He asked clearly irritated

After I explain to him that we bump into each other and that she helped me find something I have lost,seeing how his mood was I didn't mention the coffee that we shared , and then she gave me her number so we could keep in touch.  After that he was still angered but somewhat calmer from before.

"Okay where did you see her?" Alex asked
"Oh I bumped into her in ... well in Heathrow actually" I answer

"Wait what she is in England?"
"Yeah but I still hasn't understand why you care for that human" I ask trying to understand if Athena is in trouble I would really do anything to make sure she was fine.
"Why I care for her,well I don't know mister beta maybe because she is my MATE!" Alex shout and get out of the room, but my thoughts are saying again and again Alex's last word Mate,Mate ,Mate ...holy shit Athena is Alex's Mate.

ALEX'S POV

okay I know that I probably shouldn't freak out about Max meeting Athena... but I mean when she met me she ran for the hills but she gave Max her phone what did I do wrong "well if you didn't growl she wouldn't freak out" says my wolf "and who's fault is that I growl Jason?" "Okay fair one,but what do we do now I need to see my mate" well for a big bad Alpha he really can turn into a love sick puppy "you know I hear you right"oops okay but we really need to find our mate that is when a plan forms in my mind, but first I need to inform my father.

I find my father in his study casually reading one of his books his slender fingers also like automatic turning the pages,that is when I go in.

"Father I need to ask for your help"

"What can I do for you son?" He asks father already know that my Athena in my mate. I have explained to him the situation after we got back to the pack house.

"Athena is in England I need to go and find her will you watch over the pack for 2-3 weeks"

"Of course son" he answer somewhat amused "I remember when I had to chase down your mom all the way to California" yeah my parents have a really nice story but this is a story for another time.

"So you will tank over as an former Alpha?"

"Yeah don't worry about the pack I will take care of it , you go and get our future Luna back home"

"I shall return with her or shall I not return at all"
