First meeting

ATHENA'S POV

My week in New York was amazing but sadly all the things has to come to an end , so here I am giving my key to the receptionist but when I look in my purse I realize that I have lost my phone again , it is the third time today and it is only 12 in the morning ugh what can I say typical me losing my staff all the time .

So I start searching for my phone every where in the lobby and then I finally find it under the sofa , don't ask me how it get there I have no idea.

Suddenly a really nice smell hit my nose something like coconut and chocolate ugh now I want a chocolate cake as I stand up and turn to leave I collide with something hard looking up I see the most gorgeous man I have ever see he is tall even taller than me (I am a proud 5,8 feet tall kidding I was never proud of my height it always was awkward to be the tallest) he is around 6.4 feet has brown/blonde hair and green eyes and a body to die for ,jeez Athena snap out of it.

Being the shy introvert person I am with every stranger i just mutter a sorry and go to leave while any other girl would had definitely tried to start a conversation with this god like man.

But as I walk a couple of steps I hear a growl wait what? And then I hear his voice so deep but yet smooth "where do you think you are going rabbit?" He ask what what he just called me? Maybe he has mistaken me for someone else. "I am sorry sir but you must have mistaken me for someone else" I say and turn to leave again, but then I feel him grasp my arm, okay this is to much he is really good looking but I don't know him  he doesn't have the right to grasp me now I am starting to get angry

"Leave me now"
I tell him with me 'stern' voice. Yet he doesn't move a muscle but suddenly he growls and now I am pretty sure it is not my imagination whait wasn't his eyes green a moment ago ... why now they are black ?

Okay this is getting really weird

Thankfully a man lookin just like an older version of the green/black eyed guy here comes and tells him something in his ear suddenly his eyes snap back to green but a second next they are back to black and he really looks pissed he let go of me rather unwilling and go to a room looking like a meeting room or something like that.

I don't waste time and take my suitcase and leave the hotel, I enter my taxi like the flash and I tell the driver that I am heading to the airport when I look back one last time I see the guy looking really really pissed like ready to murder-someone-pissed and I feel like he is looking in my soul while the taxi is turning left I cannot help but thinking that my last day in New York was rather odd.

ALEX'S POV

This meeting was so tiring I honestly don't know if I can continue like that every Alpha need his Luna she is his strength I am 27 and most wolfs finds their mates in 20 years old the fact that I haven't yet find mine has earned me the title of the lonely Alpha some even say that she might be ... no I don't want to even think of it , thank got that my father comes in this meetings with me as my advisor he really understands mine situation he hasn't find my mother until he was 25. I really need my mate these are my thoughts as I am leaving the meeting room.

Suddenly the most amazing smell hit my nose like the ocean and and old book I cannot help but follow while my wolf inside me are pacing suddenly I find a girl no a woman trying to reach something beneath the sofa "she is her" my wolf says breathlessly as I storm towards her and she turn to leave we collide and then I have the most wonderful feeling in the world I feel  the amazing sparks where she touched me "mate she is our mate we finally find her"
She is saying something but I cannot pay attention her smooth voice has me captivated but yet i am surprised when I see her walking away "where you think you are going rabbit?" I growling ask her ,then she says something that breaks my heart "I am sorry sir you must have mistaken me for someone else " "why she goes away did she reject us why doesn't our mate want us" my wolf says howling inside then it hits us she is human we say to each other that means she doesn't feel our bond "yet" she try to go away again then with nothing else to do I grasp her arm and I can tell it was the wrong thing to do because she is looking angry "leave me now" she says.

That is when I lose control and my wolf take over and he growls I can tell she feels scared and then I am angry with myself she should never feel scared of me she should feel save around me.Then my father comes and tell me that our pack was attached by rogues and that my pack couldn't contact me through our mind lick because I close mine when I met my mate subconsciously,well you see the downside of having the biggest pack in the world is that you have a lot enemies.

I let my mate go and it feels like my heart is ripped going back to the meeting room I give orders to my warriors and in less than 5 minutes the rogues are killed running back to find my mate I realize that she is nowhere to found in the lobby catching a glimpse of a taxi pulling off I run as fast as possible outside and see my rabbit inside the taxi looking back it me right now I am so angry with myself for letting her go but it is from the rarer moments that me and my wolf are thinking the same thing
