The phone call

ATHENA'S POV

Finally I unpacked all my stuff in my dorm room. I just send a message in my friend Christa to come over and I may or may not have told her about a weird guy I bumped into . Knowing her she will come over in less than 15 minutes only for the gossip. But in the meantime I don't know what to do. Ohh I find it I will call Max he write he's phone number in my phone before he went I guess he will have arrived .
Ring ring ...
"Hello?"
Yeah he picked up "Hiiiii Max is Athena have you arrived?"
"Oh hi sorry I might have lost your number ,glad you called me yeah I arrived safe and sound what about you?"
"You know here sitting in my dorm , bored waiting for my friend to come . I didn't have anything better to do and I said hey why not call your new crazy American friend" as I finish I can hear him giggle.what can I say I have great sense of humor.
"So I am your second choice okay Athena that really hard my feelings GROWL"

Wait was this a growl? Nah probably just the phone
"Hey Max are you okay I heard something like umm not sure what exactly but it sounds scary...." and in that time Christa finally came "hay girl I am here now tell me every about that gorgeous weird guy you met" "okay Christa first of all he wasn't gorgeous...okay he was good looking but he was still over the moon weird and I am in the phone so give me a moment"

"Whatever girl as long as I get to hear the details "

All this time Max was awfully quiet "hey Max you are still there?"
"Emm yeah yeah so who is the weird guy your friend was talking about I hope it was not me hahaha"
Okay for some reason he sounds really awkward
"No it was a guy I bumped into in my hotel but never mind story for another time Christa just came so I will call you tomorrow okay?"

"Yeah sure em by the way you never told me in which university you go"
" UCL why?"
"Em no reason bye "
"Bye "

Okay that was really weird I mean he was such a nice person to talk in the airport and now he was like he was afraid to talk to me ... never mind it must be my imagination or he was tired of he's journey.yep that's it !
"2hours time jumb"
After 2hours passed telling Christa all about my journey and her telling me about her new boyfriend she left and now here I am getting ready to sleep. But for some reason I cannot stop thinking about the green/black eyed guy. Okay tomorrow is a new day and I am pretty sure I will never meat that guy again . Right?

MAX'S POV

I can't believe it Athena is Alex's mate I ...honestly I don't know what to think she is the first woman who make me feel ...things again after Mia's dead and my wolf is extremely protective of her. But she is alpha's mate that asshole Alex took her number from us Jace shut up he is our Alpha

Ring ring
Hmm who could it be ?
"Hello?"
"Hiiii Max it is Athena have you arrived ?"
Omg it is her she called me " hi Athena yeah I arrived safe and sound what about you ?"

Hahaha she is so funny and outgoing so easy to talk to her.

Why the fuck are you talking in my mate that way ? Alex said through mind link
She called me and... before I could answer him back we both hear a feminist voice probably her friend she was waiting "hay girl I am here and I want to hear all about the gorgeous weird guy you bumped into"
I feel Alex scowl deeply and I see that he is ready to attack me again you should pray that she is not talking about you or else you will not leave this room alive now ask Athena who she is talking about .
"Emm yeah yeah so who is the weird guy your friend is talking about I hope it is not me hahaha" even I cringe at how awkward I was sounding .
"No it was a guy I bumped into in my hotel never mind story for another time Christa is here so I will talk to you tomorrow ok" I see Alex's scowl turn into a full heart smile as he hear Athena talking as I figured out probably for him. And I cannot stop the hart that is expanding in my heart.  Ask her where she studies
Alex says again. After figuring out she studies in UCL  and said our goodbyes she turn off the phone.
"Listen here Athena is my MATE and I will not tolerate with you flirting with her . Within 3 weeks I will come back with her and I don't want to have about your feelings for my mate" He says as he turns and leave the room .  He leaves me alone with my thoughts I really care about Athena but i am in the position to claim her love?

ALEX'S POV
After I packed my things I went to my beta's room to apologized about before. It was wrong how I spoked to him but  when it come to my mate I am overprotective. And now that I know that she is in England so far away my wolf is restless-
" ...so Why not to call my new crazy friend from America". It is her. Her voice!" Why the fuck her voice is coming from Max's room ?!?!" My wolf says and he is right! As I ender I hear my beta  almost flirting with my mate I cannot believe it is was right he has feelings for HER! In that though a growl escapes my mouth. After i mindlink the mother fucker I hear her friend tells her about a gorgeous weird guy. My wolf is howling we are the only one who she can call gorgeous my wolf is hurt I am hurt but after I hear her next words I cannot help but smile it is us she is talking about us yeah thank god she finds us attractive our mate like us my wolf is out of the moon and so am I after I find out where she study and I treated my beta not to dare try anything with my mate when she comes. I head back to my room thinking about my beautiful rabbit I cannot wait to see her tomorrow. I only think of her as I drift to a sleep with her even in my dreams.
