Gloomy mist surrounded the forest. I sprang over tree roots, sharp trunks smashing into my face with absolute resentment.

My foot slipped on a loose stick, a bird shitting on my head in the process.

Just my luck.

I scooped the shit of my head with a stick. Scrambling up into a standing position, continuing to run away from my demons. The moons glistening light shined down on my pale face, lighting me up like a firefly.

Sorrow. What a tricky sensation.

I ran for what felt like hours, the never-ending forest stretching beyond mans naked eye.

I'm never going to get out of this place.

The trees reached all the way to the midnight blue, starry sky, looking like it could stretch to the heavens.

Someone come and save me.

I slowed to a walk, my energy draining. My legs screeched out for rest, but I pushed past the pain and carried on forwards, towards... Where? I didn't know.

My head twisted as I finally took in my surroundings. It looked so alive, not what you would expect if you were in the underworld.

Lit, old fashioned lamps hung on thick tree trunks. The lights' purple glow surrounded the forest, making the atmosphere look astonishing. A little glittery stream flowed down the forest, the moon shining into the water. Purples, blues pinks, all surrounded the air, the trees.

Glowing. It's glowing.

Glowing stags surrounded a large tree. The stag's colourful pigment glittered around it.

I wish I had my camera.

The tree towered over all wildlife, its thick roots sprouting as a home for all types of paranormal creatures, its thick trunk towering above.

I strutted away from the peaceful glowing snowy Stags. I came across a swamp like area. But it was not a swamp. No. There were beautiful thick girthed trees, its roots trying to hide under the crystal clear water.

The trees bent above me, forming an arch like structure, the top of the trunks meeting in the middle.

It looks like some kind of thing a portal would come from.

As I looked forward, I could see some sort of gateway, with white fire, bursting out a trunks top. It was not connected to the portal like opening, but the trunks crisscrossed into a door shaped frame, a sticky out piece of stick looking like a handle. As I treaded across the crystal blue water, I neared the door looking architecture. I brought down the handle. The door trembled, vibrating against the watery bottom.
