"I never thought I would believe in magic, before I saw you smile. We will liberate our souls as they bare out bright between us. Why? Because we don't have forever. Even if you think we do."

Blinding white lights blurred my vision as I awakened.

I twisted my head to the left, Thanatos' large frame draped across a blood red cushiony chair. His sapphire green eyes gaze thoughtfully at me, his mind in a different world.

"Thannie," I sated, mimicking Cerberus.

His stature came back to focus, his beautiful eyes turning into a bright glare.

"Don't start little girl," He growled lowly.

I rolled my eyes and raised my arms in mock surrender, therefore wincing in pain as my wounds protested.

"Watch it, you clumsy mortal," He snapped in annoyance.

I rolled my eyes again.

"How long have I been asleep?" I asked.

"1 week, princess," He mocked.

I gurgled in annoyance.

An evil smirk spread across his face, his massive frame coming closer.

"Come, princess, I'm taking you to the portal."

I scowled at the nickname, but nodded my head anyway.

He grips my smaller hand in his... much larger one. Teleporting us in a thick clouded of midnight black smoke, we re-appeared in the crystal clear water.

Well, I was submerged.

A muscly body lifted my wet body into their arms, quietly shaking in silent laughter.

Thanatos.

I growled, slapping his rock solid chest, hurting my hand in the process.

Oh my gods.

"What the fuck do they feed you?" I groaned in pain.

"I don't need food," he stated.

Lucky.

"Why are we here anyway?"

"Because, if you know about the existence of the portal, you need to know about what it does," He replied.
