MARY

"What was that all about?" Ella asked, placing her tray down.

"Ashley saw him, and i'm not ready for another load of bull thrown at me." I explained, shrugging.

"Dude, you seriously need to step it up. It's been sixteen years!" She shook her head in disappointment before her face instantly brightened up. It was as if there was a light bulb floating above her head.

This is not good.

"I have an idea," she smirked deviously, "we're going to a party."

I choked on my saliva, "No!"

"Yes! You need it, you need to have fun for once! Plus, Rachel's holding a party tonight, this is perfect!" A grin was stretched onto her face as she eyed me expectantly.

"Are you kidding me? I'm not going to a party, Ella!" I exclaimed, running my fingers through my knotted brown locks.

Ella crossed her arms over her chest, her chin held high. "Yes you are, and that's final." She said firmly.

I hated parties and Ella knows that for sure. Why was she doing this to me? I'll never know. Ella is a fun, exciting and outgoing person. Even though she's a 'green girl,' she has attempted to bring me into those filthy parties before. Like I said, she was outgoing. Always going to parties but doesn't at all dare to drink, she just goes for the fun of it.

There's only one problem... Ashley forbid me from going to parties.

Ella rummaged through my closet, colourful bunches of clothing slapping me square in the face. Well, let me explain: After the confrontation, it hit the end of lunch. The day went it's ways with Ashley's constant evil attitude. Then came the moment when Ella squealed nonstop about how I finally agreed to go to a party when in reality, she forced me to.

So here I am, sitting on the edge of my bed only wearing my underwear and bra underneath a towel since I recently took a shower. This is all the while Ella is practically tearing the place apart for the "perfect outfit." My face is bare, my hair is plain and I only have forty-five more minutes till my ride arrives; it's completely absurd.

Did I forget to mention, Brent and Ace will be coming to pick us up? Yup.

"Oh em gee! I found it! I found the perfect match!" Ella's head popped out of the closet, her feet following after. Then there she stood with my skinny white ripped jeans and my black peplum, sleeveless top cradled in her hands. She handed me the two pieces of clothing and shoved me into the bathroom to get changed.

I unwrapped the towel from my body then quickly pulled on the skinny jeans and top. Once i've finished, I walked out only to meet Ella who's clapping her hands excitedly with my makeup bag and a curling iron sat beside her.

"C'mon slowcoach, we've only got thirty-five more minutes to get you ready!" She squealed, dragging my body onto the edge of the bed so she could work her magic. She started off with my eyeshadow, saying that she didn't want to pressure me into wearing foundation because I didn't like it or need it.

She dabbed the eyeshadow brush into an icy cool white eyeshadow which is known as the Snow Queen Mineral Eye Shadow. She only set it onto my creases creating a pearly finish, I thought it was quite eye catching. Moving on, lined my upper lash line with liquid liner before curling my eyelashes and applying two coats of mascara. Finishing with the lipstick, she coloured my lips with a lush soft pink matte lipstick.

As she continued, my hair was put into a curly form. The tips of my hair curled more heavily while the tops were avoided. Ella's a true genius. I don't know what i'd do without her. Rocking my lace-up chunky-heal pumps, we decided a cross necklace would match with the outfit.

Making my way over to the mirror, I gasped. Ella had made me absolutely flawless and boy, I never expected myself to look so different! I called her name and seconds later we were both squealing like fangirls watching Channing Tatum take his shirt off.

"Okay enough hugs, we have to go! I'm pretty sure you don't want to keep them waiting." She waggled her eyebrows, gesturing to the car now outside of the house as it honked.

I took a chance to glance at what she was wearing. She wore a red skin-tight dress that just reached her mid-thigh, black pumps and looked absolutely stunning with her make up that consisted of the smokey eye and nude lipstick.

We rushed over to the door where I pulled it open revealing Ace who wore dark washed jeans and a white buttoned up shirt. To say he looked handsome was an understatement.

"Hot damn!" Ace coughed, smiling at us flirtatiously. "Don't mind me while I pick my jaw up off the floor."

I nudged Ella in front of me, "Just so you know, this was all Ella." I said as we all strolled towards the car.

When we got inside the car, I plugged my earphones to my phone which decided to play Something Big by Shawn Mendes.

After approximately 15 minutes, we finally stopped in front of a massive house that blasted music. I groaned, smacking my palms against my ears attempting to block out the piercing music.

"Relax, let loose. It's a partay!" Brent grinned.

"I don't like partays..." I muttered under my breath.

I followed him into the kitchen which was crowded with alcoholic drinks, the stench immediately making me grit my teeth. "Want anything to drink?" Brent asked, raising a red cup up to my face.

I shook my head harshly, my face transforming into a disgusted one. "No. No thank you. I'll just have water."

He chuckled, bringing the cup to his own lips. I pushed past the sweaty people, hoping to find Ella. It was very uncomfortable, having people grope my bum or sling their revolting arms around my waist. I figured I wasn't gonna have any luck trying to find her so I strode over to the couch, setting myself onto the soft, relieving material below me.

"You look like you need a drink, love." A cute boy who held two cups sat beside me, his light brown hair directed in many directions as he spoke with a British accent. Overall it was his sea blue eyes that caught my attention. He was hot alright.

"I don't drink alcohol." I rejected kindly.

"That's okay, it's just water." He smiled reassuringly, offering me one of the cups.

I stared at it curiously. Don't drink it, Mary. It's probably alcohol. But he's way too kind, would he really do that. Mary, stop it. Don't you dare– I huffed, snatching the drink from his hand and gulping down the remaining liquid.

The substance burned my throat and I started to feel dizzy. I stared at the cup wide-eyed, glancing up to meet the blue-eyed boy's smirk. I told you so! It was alcohol, wasn't it? Gasping, I shoved his chest weakly.

"Aw boohoo. Now let's have some fun." He pulled at my arm, my legs following lazily since I couldn't feel a muscle willing to defend.
