Mauricio heaved a sigh. "Show him that you don't care about Mauri. Do that and he'll give up blackmailing you. Iyon lang ang nakikita kong paraan."
"What about JM? I mean, wouldn't she think I have abandoned her if ever?"
Mauricio gave him a reassuring look. "She loves to gamble, young man. I'm sure you know that. She'll gamble her chances with you. As for her marriage set-up by my ridiculous father, I'll handle it."
Napabungtong-hininga pa si Mauricio. "Unfortunately, my beautiful grandchildren will be delayed by a few months but as long as you impregnate my pumpkin right after the case, it's fine."
