I was lying down on the back seat of my mother's Civic. We had been driving for three days now but it's been two months since then. Nina was in the front seat staring out the window. She wasn't upset with me anymore because like all things she gets over it. My mother didn't say anything but with what I did it disappointed her very much. And what i did got us kicked out of the pack and labeled them as lone wolves and me a rogue lone wolf.

Damn. With what i did we'll probably never get into another pack.

"I got a call from the emissary of the Arder pack in Fiore," she said still looking straight ahead, "We will meet the Alpha and ensure to them we are no harm."

I adjusted myself so that I was laying on my side facing the front.

"Please don't do anything that could get us kicked out," she pleaded.

I looked at the back of her head. I thought back to what had happened. I felt back about it because of what happened to mom and Nina but I didn't feel bad about what I did to Dimitri. He deserved it.

"I won't," I said into the cushion, "I promise."

I pulled my coat over me like a blanket. I just lied there and listened to the hum of the tire and out the window as I saw trees and trees pass by the window. Another pack. Great. Another old man that isn't my father to tell me what to do. I know I promised to be good but I didn't promise anything to anyone else.

The car then came to a halt and I was shot out of my seat and onto the floor of the car.

"Hey! At least let me know when you're going to stop!" I called out on the floor of the car, "Oh look a chicken nugget!" I plucked it from the bottom of the seat and tossed it up front.

It grossed out Nina and I laughed. I think I was stuck. Nina had to open the door for me to crawl out on all fours. "Thanks," I muttered.

I shook my legs off and grabbed my book bag. Stood before was a school. A large five-floor school with freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors hustling and bustling to get into the school for first quarter classes.

"I'll see you guys later," my mom said from the car, "Go see the Alpha before you do anything else."

We nodded and watched her pull away. My sister Nina was next to me in her pink sundress and white flip flops with a white sweater over it and her book bag slung over her shoulder. Her hair was a long shiny brown with a braid going over the side.

She was stylish and cute. Me on the other hand, guys would consider me sexy. I'm not trying to brag either. Wide hips and big bust are what grabbed their attention. My hair was long and black and my eyes were big and brown. I had on not-so-tight skinny jeans and a red t-shirt.

With what had happened I can no longer wear V-necks. I looked at the school some more. I was nervous because of this stupid Alpha. I looked at the school one last time before Nina grabbed my wrist to make us apart from the hustling and bustling student body. I exhaled deeply and rubbed my shoulder and ran my hand down it and over my heart and past my neck.

Over my heart and hope to die alone. It still burned like that night.

"Where is she? Find her!"

"It was her! It had to be her! She was the last one there! I saw her!" Dana ratted me out I should have known.

"Whether you saw her or not the cameras don't lie!" Jaq was pissed.

They burst through my bedroom door. They hauled me out of my bed. I was still in the same clothes from the night before.

"CHRIS!" Two Betas hauled me off my bed and down the hall. I kicked and tried to wrench free but one of them, Samuel, punched me in the stomach to keep me from fighting.

I tried to get a hold of the wall but they kept ripping my fingers off when I got hold of it. They threw me onto the front lawn where my mother and sister were. They were still in their pajamas. My mother ran to me.

"What did you do?!" she cried, "What did you do? Tell me! Tell me!"

Nina clung to me. "Chris, please!" she begged.

I looked at them and didn't lie. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I had to," I said.

"What did you do?" my mother asked one more time this time more fiercely.

I looked down. "I...I...I killed Dimitri," I said a sob breaking out in my voice.

My mother's eyes widened and she gripped my shoulders. "Why? Why would you do a thing like that? Do you know what that means for us?"

"I'm sorry. I had to. It was...it was...it was either him or us."

A tear slid down my cheek. I wasn't sorry though. I only felt bad for my family. They now had to deal with the consequences.

"Confession! She admitted it! Grab the Rogue!" That was Jaq. Damn like I have a chance with him now.

Guya, Danny, Fredrick, and Rei wrenched me away from my mother. I kicked and I screamed but they kept on. They took me to the yard with my mother pleading behind us.

I saw where they were taking me. They were dragging me to a where a fire was burning with a hot iron rod in it. I shook my head and screamed more.

"No! NO! Please no, don't!" I howled.

They threw me onto the ground

I kicked and screamed. They held down my arms and legs so I wouldn't kick or punch. One of them, Danny I think stood over me and grabbed hold of my collar. He tore my shirt open. The bare flesh of my chest was exposed. Smooth, pink, unblemished skin.

"Hold her," Jaq demanded grabbed the red-hot iron from the fire. The metal piece was burning red from the flames and it looked like hell.

The guys lifted me to my feet and held my hands behind my back. I looked up to face Jaq, my face pleading for him not to do this."You blew it," he said with such disdain in his voice, right before he placed the searing metal onto my chest. I screamed out in agony as it burned onto my skin. It tried to heal but as it healed he just kept burning it into my flesh. The night was filled with my screams of pain, agony, and fury.

"Chris! Chris!" Nina said shaking me. Were we in front of I think...a principal's office? It didn't take me long to realize that the hallway was empty and no longer bustling. It was quiet and desolate. Wow.

I was breathing heavily and quickly I pushed away my thoughts. I needed them out of my mind right now, right this second.

"Let's go," I said as I pushed the dark mahogany door open.

There was a large empty desk towards the back of the room. Two betas were stationed behind it, one on each side. There were two other one stationed near the door. They were all pretty good looking but I knew I had no chance with any of them despite my rank.

"The alpha will be coming just sit tight," the one to my left said.

We waited awhile and still, he didn't come. As I stood there the door towards the back of the room opened. A tall well-built boy walked through with a short girl with brown hair trailing. At first, I was confused but when he sat at the desk and folded his hands under his chin I knew exactly who he was.

He was the Alpha.

"Kneel before the alpha," the beta to my left said.

"Wha-?" Before I could really react he kicked the back of my knees and I feel onto my elbows.

I went to stand but he pushed me down by my shoulder. When he realized he could get me down the other beta pushed me down by my other shoulder. I struggled to bring my body up as they put their weight on me. They were pushing me down.

I craned my neck to look at him. He just watched. Brown hair brown eyes. Bored look. The girl looked worried but the guy didn't. What the hell was he expecting?
