Josh woke to a soft alarm. Rolling over he rubbed his eyes. He pulled the thin covers up to his chin. He heard Mike yawn then jump down from the top bunk.

"Wake up Josh, we've got a big day ahead of us" He sounded like he had been awake for hours yet he only just woke up. How does everyone he know wake up so early? He mumbled a response and rolled out of bed. He put on his clothes, and slipped his phone into one of his pants pockets. The two met Luke and Jake in the lounge room, the four of them headed to the dining room. Luke and Jake continued down to the kitchen. Mike showed Josh to their table in the far right corner, it sat next to a large window overlooking the gardens.

"Nice view," Josh said.

"Yeah it's not bad," MIke replied pulling out his own phone, "Ah we have to study first, then we have training, then horse riding and lastly meditation. Not a bad day"

Josh pulled his own phone out and looked in his messages, he had a message that outlined his day including rooms and times. He saw that they started in the Library and ended in the gardens. He also noticed that each class went for a different time, Library study only went for an hour yet training went for three and horse riding was two hours.

"Why are the times so weird?" He asked Mike.

"Well we need more time to practice harder things, it's pretty basic" Mike said.

"Touché" the dining room was almost full and it was only ten past six, the boys had come earlier because Luke and Jake needed to begin cooking, they had arrived around five fifty.

Josh watched as everyone walked in the doors. Josh spotted Lee as she walked towards them.

"Hey boys" Lee said as she sat down next to Josh, "we have a nice day today, not to much training"

"Three hours isn't much?" Josh said.

The other two laughed before Lee said, "we had a day when we trained for nine hours straight, it was horrid"

"Yeah, you don't want to have nine hours of training Josh" Mike said.

"Okay then" the three of them sat in silence as they waited for breakfast. Food was placed on tables in the middle of the room and each section of the room went up to grab breakfast at different times. Their part of the room was first. Josh grabbed a bowl of porridge and topped it with fruits. He also grabbed a side plate and placed some more fruit on it. The three ate their breakfast. Mike ate his pile of bacon and eggs, Lee ate her muesli and fruit. Lee and Mike talked the whole time giving Josh some time to think. He tried to come up with any solution as to how to get Alex back but without basic information he had no idea.

"Okay guys see you back at the common room," Lee said before leaving the table. Josh looked at Mike who just continued eating.

"I guess she was done, Josh she is allowed to do what she likes" Why was he confused, she was probably just going to brush her teeth or something.

"Yeah, I know, I'm going to go back to the dorm," Josh said as he pushed away from the table and walked towards the exit. The dorms were only one level above them so he didn't think he could get lost. Josh walked into their small dorm and brushed his teeth. He looked very tired from the night before and sad, he didn't look like himself. The more he thought about Alex the more he missed her. Finishing up he went outside into the small common room and waited for everyone else. Lee came out of one of the other dorms, She came and sat down next to him.

"How are you doing?" She asked, they were sitting on one of the smaller couches. Josh lent forward resting his elbows on his knees.

"Everything is confusing, I don't know anything" Josh said, "I don't even know where she is"
