March 2nd 1995

The days after the second task brought shame onto Durmstarng Acadamy, students of Hogwarts - and Beauxbatons alike - would scoff and glare at each of the champions as they walked down the castle halls. It was clear to see why; not only did they have two champions in the tournament, they where currently ranking joint first, and second place.

Viktor was tied first place alongside Cedric Diggory (the Hogwarts champion), whilst raven was second place. Fleur coming in last. This meant the likeliness of a Durmstrang champion winning the tournament was higher than ever.

Poliakoff had taken to escorting the black-haired girl too and from her lessons, after witnessing an attack from a group of seventh year Gryffindors, both had agreed not to mention why he was escorting her - but if anyone caught sight of the nasty glares from any other students, it would be clear why.

"Who do y'reckon is going to win?"

Polikoff looked at her, raising his eyebrows in confusion, "What do you mean, 'who do I think is going to win?'" He asked suspiciously, "I can't see into the future y' know."

Raven rolled her eyes, adjusting her bag on her shoulder as she studied the stone flooring of the corridor as the two walked down it, "Obviously, I know that; I meant who do you think is going to win?" She repeated, "Who do you think has the most potential to win - just because you say someone doesn't mean they're going to automatically win."

Polikoff snorted at that, the two continue to walk down the long corridor, the blinding sun from the March sunrise, partially blinded the two as they walked, squinting when they choose to look at each other, "You." Polikoff said after a moments silence.

She laughed, her black-hair swaying in its ponytail,= as she limped, "Me?" She snorted, in an unladylike manner, "Why in Merlins Beard would I win?"

Polikoff furrowed his eyebrows, "'Merlins Beard'....?" He asked, pondering for a moment before shaking his head, "The British have some strange phrases."

After pulling her fur sleeves down her arms to cover her hands, she rolled her eyes, "No, seriously though - why do you think I would win?"

Polikoff shrugged, kicking his feet against the floor as he walked, "I dunno," He admitted, "You've done alright in the first two tasks, what's to say you won't do even better in the last one as well?"

"Done alright? - I almost lost my leg, then had a panic attack in front of everyone." Raven listed, "Not to mention that I didn't even save Neveah from the Black Lake."
