I opened YouTube and uploaded the video I just finished, pairing it with a premade thumbnail. As I waited for the video to upload, I set my Mac off to the side and grabbed the TV remote. Scrolling through his videos and overall choosing one of his older videos. Minecraft, but XRAY was always on (#1). I skipped the initial ad that played and immediately heard a voice talk through a crisp mic.
Dream sounded familiar for some reason...

I watched a couple more of Dream's videos, laughing at what felt like every other second. To points where I couldn't breathe or where I'd start choking on my chips. I had learned a bit about this Dream guy just by watching some of his videos, some vods even. Like, he normally records with this European youtuber- named George- and this other American youtuber- named Sapnap. Even sometimes with this other American youtuber named BadBoyHalo, Bad for short.
But from all of the videos on his channel, there was this one series of videos that fascinated me. Minecraft Manhunt. It always had me at the edge of my seat. All his jukes, crazy plans, the wins, the loss, the unexpected. Not to mention the series held his most viewed videos- no wonder.
I was watching the latest video of said series. Minecraft Speedrunner VS 3 Hunters GRAND FINALE. I was nearing the video's end- currently watching Dream collecting sand for whatever reason. As the video skipped to the next bit, we see Dream's ender eye falling to the grass in front of him. Then it cut to the next scene and before I knew it, he was at the portal.
Dramatic music began playing as I sat at the edge of my seat- anticipating a big play. And all I could see was Dream placing tnt in his hotbar. As I waited for the 1,000 IQ moment to happen- my eyes literally glued to the TV- my attention was pulled by a distant ping.
I looked over and saw that I had gotten a new message from Dream, via Twitter. I pause the video on the TV and grab my phone. Putting the code in and going straight to Twitter.
