Recap...

But my comment didn't seem to have the same effect on him as it did for me. Instead, he seemed serious. And I couldn't help my flustered expression with what he said next...

"I don't need to see colors to know how dull my life is without you"

. . .

My heart was on fire.

"Clay!" I exclaimed as I chased the blonde to our hotel room's front door. But it was too late, he was out the door. Shutting it with a slam.

A sigh left me as I leaned against the wall beside me. He was mad. Or more so jealous. What George had done to my neck the previous night was apparently enough to tick him off. I'm honestly surprised he only found out about it this morning. But in all fairness, when I got back he was fast asleep.

But still... Did he have to make a big deal out of it? Cause a huge scene before walking out?

I coughed, bringing me out of my own thoughts. My throat hurting from having raised my voice just moments ago with Clay. And the fact that I had gotten rained on yesterday while swimming- not to mention still sat outside in the cold wind that accompanied the rain- probably didn't help with any of this.

Regardless, I just stood there confused. What am I supposed to do? I don't know where Clay has gone. He probably doesn't even want to speak with me right now even if I go chase after him. George had texted me that he'd be streaming today. And Nick- well, I just don't really wanna be alone with him after what happened yesterday. I just need some time to think. Just a little.

Yet another sigh escaped me as I tried to figure out what to do today. I could stream, but my time here in California is ever so limited right now. I'd rather be outside than inside. But I am ever so clueless when it comes to this state.

Pushing my thoughts to the side, I decided to just search up some places I could go visit. But the question was, where is my phone?

I began to look around the living room. Nothing. Dining room? Nope. Kitchen? Yeah- no. Clay and I's bedroom? Not from what I could see.

I sat on the edge of our messy bed with a sigh. Of course I wouldn't know where my phone is. And as if someone could hear my struggles, I heard a quiet and muffled ding. The sound seemed to have come from the vanity.

I walked over to see my bag hung along the side of the vanity chair. I picked it up and placed it on the vanity itself before opening it. Immediately getting greeted by my phone. Along with my wallet, a set of keys and a stray card.

Thinking that one of my credit cards had fallen out of my wallet, I picked it up to see it wasn't a credit card but a business card. It had a number on it. And below it read, "Tate Francie Maddox"

A soft smile graced my lips. I had completely forgotten about this. I decided that I'd put the contact into my phone now before I forget about it later on. I pulled my phone out and turned it on to see a thousand of notifications from Instagram and thousands more on Twitter.

With a perked eyebrow, I unlocked my phone and opened up Twitter. My eyes widening once opening the trending page. I was trending. But not just me. George was too.
