"Alright. Explain." I looked Crystallia confused as heck.
She shrugged a little. "That's that actually. The Necklace glowed green when Estel wore it and he later discovered he had powers. Same happened to all who have wore it after him, Dimitri included."
I rested one hand on my hip and pinched the bridge of my nose with the other while trying to make sense. "You know, when I asked if Dimitri was some sort of superhero, I didn't imagine he was Beast Boy!"
"Well, if we're to compere him to superheroes then I think we should throw Vixen into the mix. Cause of the necklace and all." Itarille crossed her arms, keeping her voice casual with the beginnings of a smile on her pink lips.
I groaned not understanding how she had time to joke around. "Itarille, please." I looked at her seriously. "If you wouldn't mind, actually, everyone give me a moment with Crystallia, will you?" It wasn't a question to be honest, I just needed to stay alone with her. Thankfully they listened to me and they left us alone. Callanon called after Raina, Eccaia and the male soldier as they were coming back from the stalls. Raina followed suit, but Eccaia and the soldier took their Mearas and back where they came from, through the path of the forest. Even Taqa left from her sitting place on a tree. I looked Crystallia serious. "How in God's name, can a necklace give such powers?"
"First off, this is not the only necklace that gives powers, remember Vixen as mentioned by Itarille."
That is true. Vixen is a superheroine from the DC Universe, that actually has related powers to my own. She has a powerful necklace that gives her the talents and even mimic the abilities of any animal she thinks. For example, if she needs to she can think about a Cheetah and 'BOOM', Cheetah speed that very second. She is very cool, I hope to meet her one day! Back to subject.
"And second, forgive me, but I don't understand why you react like that since you yourself have powers." I was about to protest, but she cut me off. "Don't deny it, I told you when we met that I have been keeping a close eye on your family and we both know what I'm talking about."
I crossed my arms over my chest. "Like?" I wasn't going to agree straight away with her, I first wanted to hear what she knew.
"Animal Understanding for starters? How you understand every animal you meet if you spend some time with it. I've seen you do it many many times."
"Umm... Stalker much?"
"Even if I hadn't, we literally saw you understand what Thunder said like 5 minutes ago. Speaking of which, what you did with him, how you stopped him with a simple command, that's Nature's Order. And you grabbed your head right after cause you felt something right? Headache or loss of strength perhaps?" Something told me she knew the answer, but she wanted me to see for myself.
I let my hands fall to my sides, trying to find words to explain it. "I... I don't know what happened actually. I felt... dizzy suddenly." I looked at her confused. "Like. I felt a little weaker, as if I had run up a small hill. Disoriented even. But it left as quickly as it came."
She had a gentle smile. "You are descendent of Dimitri. He had the Necklace for years and had its powers too. Some remnants of those powers are in your blood. What happened with Thunder was that you used those remnants to calm him and help us, unknowingly to you. The remnants you used specifically were a power the Necklace grands, called Nature's Order. As the name suggests, with this power you can order Nature to your will, meaning you can command her and everything in her domain to do as you want. You wanted Thunder to stop before he hurt anyone, so the remnants did their work, along side with the fact that some animal species are more sensitive to the... aura that the Guardian has, the Mearas among them. You managed to calm him, though the fact that you didn't have the Necklace costed you physical and phycological strength, thus the dizziness."
