Watching Wendy retreat into the distance all I can think is that I am too much like my father and that I have to get going because my dad's gonna kill me if I'm not at the ship when he gets home. After dashing an average of a mile and a half I slowly retreat to my cabin out of breath. I mean I'm practically dying here. I'm lying on my bed when my father arrives pulling his crisp white gloves finger by finger. Just seeing that reminds me of her, ugh. "Alright, Veronica. What's going on." my father asks while retreating to the end of my bed making it creak.. "Nothing." I say as nonchalant as possible. "C'mon Smee can do better than that. Your as red as a guppy out of air." he says  motioning to my face. "No I'm not. " I say as I practically sprint off my bed to my mirror. He ducks his head under out of the room, his feather scraping the ceiling. "Well, alright." he says eyeing me. "How was studies? Crap!

A little while later after persuading my father to leave the room:

"Tink, I don't know what happened. One minute everything is all howdy-doody and the next thing I know Peter is taking her bloody side!" I say throwing myself onto my bed. Tink, tinklink, link, link, link. Tink says. "Well...yeah but, I could--. No I can't do that. Ugggh, this is so frustrating, Tin--" I complain. "Tink, I swear she has Pan right around her little round finger." I say pacing the floor. "Believing every little word she says and facial expression she bears! I mean who does she thinks she is stealing my man!" I screech. "Ronnie, you do know that he isn't dating you right?" Tink asks. "Well yeah, but I called dibs first." I pout.
