She screams as she falls from the plank that was set oh-so carefully. The ship gasps but, I hear one more prominent than the others. Peter rushes to the rail next to the plank. “Girl, what was that for?!” his red eyebrows rise with his voice. “Isn’t that what we wanted?” I ask. “It’s what you wanted.” He points at me as we begin to hear her scream get smaller. “All I wanted was her to back off.” He takes his cap off and brushes his hair back from his face. “You know,” he says squinting his eyes at me as he squishes his cap. “I may not be as smart as the rest of you but, I’m smart enough to know that you are just like your father. A low life piece of scum; only out for themselves.” He says looking me in the eye before he jumps.

My ears hurt, what is making that awful noise? And I realize it’s me, it’s the sound of my heart cracking; breaking; numb. Tears obscure my vision as I look down at Peter placing Wendy on her roof. The silent tears flow harder when I see them kiss. I take one look at the group behind me, seeing them see what I’ve become. The Lost Boys faces are confused between the satisfactory that she’s gone and the horror and sadness of what I’ve done. Smee holds his hat in his hand. Finally I jump.

With the wind whipping past my ears and through my hair I finally understand as the sound of Smee, my father, and Tink’s voices fade. Peter didn’t like me, or love me. He was just having a good time when I met him all those years ago. Peter wasn’t the one calling my name. It was my father’s when I faked my death. Captain Hook through all his quirks and whirrs was a man who loved, a man who loved me, a man who is my father. The only guy who fully accepted me, I slow my fall by turning on my back stretching my arms out enjoying it, the feeling of warmth of knowing my father loves me.  I see Tink pushing to catch up to me when all of a sudden it looks like she drops rapid altitude before she zooms back to the now golden ship. I frown at the thing with Tinkerbell before closing my eyes. And it hits me like a new gust of wind. I don’t belong in Neverland. I was always the outsider. I didn’t belong. The only one who never knew the world of where Wendy came from. I smile at my differences. I stretch my wounded and well arms above my head picking up speed and wait. I take a deep breath waiting and welcoming the unknown world beyond.

A/N: Sooooo, what’d you think??? What will happen? Is this the end of Veronica? Did she miss her landing and die? You will never know! Mwaahaahaaahaaaaa! No, I’m joking. Lol. So, there will most likely be a second story. Be prepared for the twists and turns that will come. I’m not sure as to when I will post it but, it’ll probably be soon I already have some AWESOME ideas. Okay, now on to The Thank You’s. I would like to thank all of my readers the known and unknown. I would like to say thank you to followers. And last but not least, my mom and dad who don’t have Wattpad accounts, @SimoneRene, @justanotherme, and @veronicaphinx. And no, the last screen name to your left was not an inspiration for the main characters name. Hope you read the next story and if you have ANY questions or comments totally ask me in my inbox or just openly leave them at the end of the chapter. Till then, First star to the right and straight on till morning!
