'I'm so happy I played crossies with her, cause she won't be seein' daylight till tomarrow...maybe.' I think to myself. I can't believe Tink wouldn't tell me. After all this time?! What kinda friend is she? Dad was right not to trust fairies! I mean ugh, she is such a pixie! Oops, excuse the language.

I storm into Indian Village where Tink usually is if not with me. With fire blazing in my eyes I rip open Tigerlily's teepee flap. Startled she turns around wringing out her braids. Horribly trying to compose herself she practically screams, "Veronica! What is wrong with you?! I could've been revealed!" she wraps her deerskin poncho tighter around herself for good measure. "Where is that little backstabber?!" I shriek. "What are you shouting about?" she says approaching me. "That little...pixie!" I spit out fuming. "Veronica! We do not speak of others in that tongue!" her cheeks flaming red. "She betrayed my father and I. Did you know about this?" I finally say. "Ron-" she steps towards me sadness in her eyes as they soften. "Did you know about this." I say stepping away from her. "Well, yes but-" she starts. "But nothing and you never told me." I say flinching away from her grasp. "I thought she told you..." she says confused backing away while looking at the ground. "Yeah, I thought we told each other everything, too." I say walking towards the flap to leave. "Ronnie," she says in a quiet voice. "What?!" I screech. "Sorry, continue." I say rubbing my eyes."Tink's been captured..." she continues. "Well maybe she deserved it this time." I say without feeling already out of the flap and into the overcast day. "Not if that someone is your father."
