I pulled my hair back and put on a teal tank top and grey sweats. The hike we were going on calls for no makeup unless I want to look like a clown. I should have chose an easy hike but a lot of people give this one good rates so oh well.
I put on my running shoes grabbed a synch bag and headed outside to wait for Jack. He pulled up in the next few minutes. I jumped in and saw he picked everyone else up also.
"Excuse my bare face," I said.
"Please you look gorgeous now lets get going before it gets hot," said Sarah.

It took about 15 minutes to get there. We all piled out of the car and started up the hill. I walked in front with Jack and Sarah and Vincent were right behind us. About half way up we decided to take a break but when I went to step aside I slipped and fell on my back with my elbows all scratched up. "Great now I'm all bloody and scraped up," I said annoyed.
Jack got me back on my feet and cleaning the blood off with the little tissue pack I had in my bag.
"You guys go ahead I'm gonna stay back with Emily,"said Jack worried.
"I'm fine I can go it was just a little fall," I assured him.
"You sure I mean you took a nasty fall on those rocks?" he asked.

"Ya lets catch up to Sarah and Vincent," I said while smiling.

Jack's point of view:
I was surprised to hear Emily say she wanted to keep going after she fell. I guess I've got a pretty strong girlfriend which is awesome. She walked in front of me the rest of the way up. We took a couple breaks along the way but made it to the top pretty fast.
"Wow it's really nice up here, we should come up here more often," I suggested.
"Yes definitely!" said Sarah.

I took a couple pictures with Emily for keepsake memories. I wrapped my arm around her and started back down the hill. She seemed a little pale which is strange because she is usually an olive tan color.
"Hey Em, would you like some water you seem dehydrated?" I asked.
"No I feel fine, thanks though," she said cracking a smile.

I think she was lying because she seemed so out of it and it seems like at any second she's gonna pass out. We walked a little further and she wasn't walking strait and than her eyes rapidly shut. She just passed out from dehydration. Crap we have about a mile till we get to the car. I picked her up and started running down the mountain trying not to trip on a rock or run into other people. I made is successfully down the hill and got Emily in the car. Sarah and Vincent jumped in.
"Should we take her to urgent care?" I asked.

"Ya she needs fluids instantly," Sarah said.

I drove off fast hoping not to get pulled over by a cop. I pulled up to the urgent care and hopped out with Emily in my arms. The lady at the front fest guided us to a room where than the doctor hooked her up to a IV. I sat there thinking about how she planned such an amazing day and nothing went well for her. She doesn't deserve this.
I few minutes later her eyes opened.

"Hey beautiful how are you feeing?" I asked.

"Tired and honestly I'm desperate for Netflix right now,i feel like a slug," she said.

I laughed a little at her response. She's so adorable.
"Well when the doctor clears you we can head to my house and watch Netflix than I will take you home so you can get ready for school the next day," I said sympathetically.

"I would love that," she smiled.

The doctor cleared her and I wheeled her out to the car where Sarah and Vincent had been waiting. Who knows what they were doing in the hour we were gone. I dropped them off and took Emily to my house.
When we drove up I bridal carried her into my room. My mom asked about everything and I explained it and she made some tea for Emily. I guess it hydrates really well.

I turned on Netflix and cuddled beside her in my bed. She was cold to the touch so I wrapped her in a blanket and pressed up against her to give her some body heat. We watched and she slowly fell asleep. It was almost 8:00 so I decided it was right to take her home.

"Hey beautiful wake up I'm gonna take you home so you can get a good sleep for school tomorrow," I said softly tapping her.
"Jack thank you for taking care if me," she said while cracking a smile.

I carried her to the passenger seat and drive off to her house. Her mom already knew about what happens because I called her so she was understanding. She allowed me to take her to her room.
I kissed her goodnight and left.

Emily's point of view: Today was crazy but I'm do thankful that Jack was by my side and knowing he has by back is pretty incredible. I took a shower and put some pj's on. I set out my stuff for tomorrow and crawled in bed. I turned of my light and laid there thinking about how much I love Jack until my eyes finally shut.
