• Moon Gang-tae's POV
"Hyung, please come out now."
My brother is still not over the incident earlier. Although he didn't scream or make a scene, I know that he is still in shock.
He quickly walked to the room and locked himself up after asking Ko Mun-yeong who she is.
It's such a funny thought that the person he idolizes is the same person he's scared of.
"What's funny, oh?"
I didn't know he can hear my suppressed laughter from the other side of the door.
"Hyung, I'm requesting you to come out first. We haven't had our dinner yet. I'm hungry already."
"B-But how can I go out if there's a g-ghost in this house, oh?"
"That's because I still haven't introduced you to the ghost. But I'm sure you know her already." I smile while I give Sang-tae a hint.
"Moon Gang-tae, don't play with me. I'm your older b-brother. Tsk."
"Who says I'm playing? Come out now and I'll introduce her to you."
"Are you getting crazy already, huh, Gang-tae? I told you to s-stop watching horror m-movies."
"Arasso, I will. I won't wait for you anymore, okay? I need to eat the kimchi, rice, and ramyun on the table, it's getting cold."
I heard a rumbling sound. Must be from his tummy. Or mine?
The knob moved a bit. That's my cue.
A few seconds after, hyung is already settling down in front of me, but not without looking around and left and right and up and down.
"Eat."
He ate fast and hungrily. I let him eat first.
"The one you saw earlier is Ko Mun-yeong, your favorite author."
Hyung stopped chewing his food, looked at me like I'm a criminal, reached over, and hit me hard over and over. "Do! Not! Involve! Ko Mun-yeong, oh?! Bad! You're bad!"
"Years went by and the boy became an adult. He no longer had nightmares. But for some strange reason, he wasn't happy at all. One night, a blood moon filled the night sky, and the witch finally showed up again to take what he had promised in return for granting his wish. And he shouted at her with so much resentment. All my bad memories are gone. Why can't I be happy? The the witch took his soul as they had promised."
Hyung froze. He turned and looked and peeked but there was none. But I saw a spark in his eyes. He knew I was telling the truth.
He looked at me.
And ran to the room.
"Hyung!"
"He will come back, don't worry."
Sang-tae came back, with a pen and paper.
He left both on the table and stepped back.
"If-If you're K-Ko Mun-yeong, give me your a-autograph."
A few seconds passed and there was nothing.
Hyung started pacing while covering his ears, a sign that he's agitated and disappointed.
Then the pen started to stand up by itself. It glided smoothly on the paper, making curves and dots, and without hesitations.
My brother's face lit up.
He got his answer.
