i remember that day, i just might regret that day for the rest of my days.

i remember those needy girls trippin' over themselves to win my praise.

i remember that dream-light candlelight, like a dream that you can't quite place.

but l/n, i'll never forget the first time i saw your face.

"l/n-san?"

akagi didn't think he'd ever be in a situation like this. he wasn't prepare for what he had just seen.

"h-huh?" l/n stammered out.

akagi wanted to make sure he wasn't just imagining things.

"ahahaha.. stupid question but... l/n? were you about to...?"

l/n was positioned at the edge of the roof. akagi had just came in through the door, only to be met with a girl with tears running down her face.

"..."

"please... don't do it..."

akagi was at a loss for words. he wasn't sure what to say to this girl who he had just met. she was a second year in junior high. as was he. she wasn't anything special though. not smart. not particularly talented. not yet, anyway.

what akagi had just interrupted was her trying to end her life. to put in bluntly.

it seemed weird how this was be how he met his future friend and first love.

"why shouldn't i? i'm useless. there's nothing good about me. i have no friends and it's not like anyone would care!" l/n answered, still with tears streaming down her eyes.
