the conversation lasted two minutes, maybe three minutes, everything we said in total agreement

it's a dream and it's a bit of a dance, a bit of a posture, it's a bit of a stance

she was a bit of a downer, but i'mma give it a chance. i asked about her family, did you see her answer?

her hands started fidgeting she looked askance. she hates them, she's flying by the seat of her pants.

"come on l/n! just try receiving!"

"akagi, i'll get hit in the face. don't be stupid, i'll need surgery or something afterwards."

"now you're just being dramatic!" he whined. despite being a normally positive person, l/n was a bit of a downer when it came to sports. sure, she was willing to try new things every once in a while, but sports just wasn't her thing.

"what about serving? i can teach ya!" akagi was still trying to convince l/n to play volleyball, but of course she never agreed.

l/n sighed, "leave it akagi, you'll never get me to do it."

"ugh."

total agreement? yeah right.

"hey l/n, what's your family like?"

"my family?" she repeated, a disgusted look appeared on her face.

"they can die in hell, for all i care," she snickered, causing akagi to give her a look of shock.

who wouldn't care about their own family?

"they're too possessive," she continued, "they don't want me to do what i want. they want me to take their approach on life, rather than my own."

"i guess that's understandable," akagi replied, still not recovered from her previous comments.

"don't worry about it, akagi-san," she turned her head to face the boy next to her. "it's normal."

normal?

what's she referring to as normal?

my reaction?
