I was awake till four last night, I was reading fanfictions at first. My demi-god (semigod?) phone could only save, like, three, but that was better than nothing. Then Mom and dad were 'talking' in the living in the room. At first, they were, but after that- never mind. I was awake until four. Albus and James had tried to play the prank once, but I was still awake. The conversation went something like this:

*Door opens*

Me: What are you two doing here?

One of them: Nothing, this is all a dream, and why are you awake anyways?

M: Don't go into the living room

O: sure, but why?

M: Just trust me on this one, I've been awake for the past two hours by the 'noises'

O:Sure...but we're leaving now. And you're super weird, how are you even up this late?

M:dunno, now leave before I call mom and dad and ask uncle Travis for prank help.

I didn't think I would actually do it myself, but it was enough to scare them. They rushed out of the room, and closed the door behind them before I could say anything more. I'm pretty sure I started hallucinating after that, and saw a ghost- that's why I finally fell asleep.

Habits are hard to break, so despite the late night, I woke up at the crack of dawn. It was already later than I would've liked, and the sun had risen completely.

"What time is it?"

"Seven, but-"

"No this I don't do." She said and pulled the covers back on top of her, turning away from me. I could only assume she had already curled up into a fetal position.

"You wanna prank the boys?" I asked her. That worked (kind of) and she finally sat up and messily tucked her hair behind her ears, before yawning and asking me again-

"I'm in, but what about Lily?"

"You can wake her up, but I don't know if she slept well"

"Why?"

"Mom and dad were 'talking' in the living room" I said, making air quotes with my fingers, she just nodded. We knew how competitive their Ludo games could get all too well. I left the room anyway, and I heard Zoe wake up Lily behind me.

Just as I was leaving, I bumped into the boys again.

"What are you doing here?" I asked them for the second time that day,

"How does she always catch us when we're trying to prank the girls?" James asked his brother,

"I really don't know, but I'm not leaving this prank" Albus replied. Lily and Zoe chose a good time to walk out of the bedroom door. They grumbled as they entered the dining room, and left hurriedly.

"Time to work on a prank" I said,

"Wait!" Lily called, raising up both her arms and stopping the conversation in a fashion so dramatic- only a ten year old could manage. "We have to make sure they're not using extendable ears to listen to us first,"

"What are those?" I asked her, she didn't reply and looked around at the floor. She stopped scanning as her eyes landed on a small piece of string. She went over with scissors and cut it.

"Done, now we can plan, but they might have more of those, so we have to whisper" She said, lowering her voice dramatically. I rolled my eyes, but listened to her anyway.

After an hour of whispering, we had come up with a plan to prank them, we hadn't even said anything much, just written it down on a blank piece of paper.
