I didn't know where I was. Ahead of me, there was a huge, black gate, and behind me, there was nothing. I didn't know where I should go, so I looked to the sides. To my left, there was a river, but even from fifty feet away, I felt sadder and more depressed. To my right, there was a large area, it was as big as two football fields, there were people floating around. Wait, people? Oh gods no, they weren'r people, they were ghosts. I was in the underworld, I had died. I had left Zoe and Luke behind, and I just died. I walked around, it was a little bit like riding a segway, I just drifted in the direction I wanted to go in.
I entered the huge area, there was no light. But I still squinted. Before I could enter, somebody appeared before me. Lord Hades himself,
"and who might you be?"
"Silena Beckendorf Jackson," I said warily, but Hades' eyes widened.
"The spawn of Percy Jackson?"
"umm...yeah, why?" I asked, my previous nervous thinning.
"How have you died? The gods made a pact to protect the children of the two greatest demigods of the last decade, so tell me. How did you die?"
"Umm...manticore attack, and I got hit by the tail, Lord Hades," I said, because even if he was afraid of my dad. I shouldn't take advantage, he was still a god.
"I'll let you live," he said,
"wait. really?" I asked, he sighed, then nodded,
"on one condition," of course this would happen,
"you must view all your mother's hardships from her view feeling her emotions,"
"why my...mother?" I asked,
"Jackson had an easy life,"
"Really? but dad always said-"
"You want to live?"
"yes, Zoe will probably not even accept the fact I was dead,"
"You may begin," He said, and I felt myself dissolve.
(sorry for the short chapter, but I have my midterms coming up and I'll probably update this later on today)
