•Author's Note Part One•
So here's the catch.. At first this book was going to be about the usual mafia-brother books. Till I got a sudden idea and changed my whole plot.
Under this author's note is the original story I intended to write.

Chapter 1I was on the beach, my brothers were chasing me, and I was having some much fun.
But then my alarm rang.
Of course, having brothers was always a dream. I had read so many books on siblings that I felt like I was missing out. I always felt lonely.
Groaning, I stood up to take a quick shower.
I always felt extra sleepy on a Friday.
Once I was done, I got dressed. I was angry at the school because we had to wear a uniform, which sucked.
Our school uniform included a sky-blue shirt, navy blue skirts/trousers (an option for girls), white socks, black shoes and a navy blue tie with the school logo on it.
I usually wore the trousers instead of the skirt because skirts weren't my thing. In fact, I barely had any skirts in my wardrobe.
Once I was dressed, I sleepily stuffed my books and equipment I needed for the day and walked to the kitchen for breakfast.
Mum was already there, and she was rubbing her forehead, staring at her laptop.
"Hey mum," I said, putting on a smile.
She closed her laptop and looked at me,"Morning Alexa."
"You still have that headache?" I asked mum. She had this headache for a few days now, and it wasn't showing any sign of going away.
Mum nodded.
"It's high time you see the doctor now," I told her.
"Bu-"
I cut her off,"No buts, you have to get better mum."
She sighed,"Fine, I will go once I have dropped you off at school, okay?"
I smiled, satisfied that I was able to convince her. Mum returned the smile.
I went and hugged her, but my nose stung me.
"Mum," I whined,"You put too much perfume."
She rolled her eyes,"I can't do anything about that, my boss says that I have too."
I sat down to eat breakfast as my mum, once again, told me about how strict her boss was I had never actually met this boss of her.
I quickly finished my food, and mum drove me to school.
I got out of the car while waving goodbye to mum.
I felt someone hugging me, I smiled and hugged the person back.
It was Hannah, my best friend. We met in third grade.
"I missed you so much," Hannah squealed.
I rolled my eyes at her,"It has only been a day."
"A dreadful, long day. Trust me, staying with a mean sister for a whole day is not fun," Hannah replied recalling the past few days.
I put my arm around her,"Why don't you tell me all about it?"
