Marinette placed the last macaron inside the cream colored box. The macarons were all flavored her classmates' favorite flavors. The macarons consisted of many different colors. Pink, green, orange, red, purple, yellow, blue, white, black and brown. Max and Alix liked pistachio, Juleka liked grape, Rose and Myléne liked strawberry, Nathaniel and Kim liked cherry, Chloé liked lemon, Sabrina liked lemon too—because of Chloé, of course, Alya and Lila liked orange, Nino liked chocolate, Ivan liked licorice, and Adrien liked passionfruit. Marinette had also put in a vanilla macaron for Miss Bustier and blueberry for Marc.
Marinette hummed as she closed the lid. With all of the akumatizations going on, Marinette had wanted to lift up her classmates' spirits. She slung her backpack on. She walked up to her dad, and on her toes, she kissed him on the cheek. She did the same to her mom.
"Bye, Papa! Bye, Mom!"
"Bye, Marinette!" They waved, as Marinette walked out the door. She walked across the street to her school. She walked up the steps, spotting Marc under the stairs. She ran towards him, careful not to trip like she had done multiple times before.
"Hey, Marc!" She said, crouching down to get on his level. Marinette carefully picked up the blueberry macaron and placed it in Marc's hand.
"Thank you so much, Marinette. Your macarons are always the best." Marc said, smiling widely.
Marinette grinned, "What are you working on?"
Marc took a bite out of his blue macaron and rotated the book to face Marinette.
"It's about Evillustrator and Reverser fighting beside Ladybug and Cat Noir," he explained, "they need to fight a villain that can duplicate their powers onto everyone else, causing absolute chaos."
Marinette smiled, "That's an amazing concept, Marc! Are you working on it with Nathaniel?"
Marc nodded as the bell rang. "We better go, class is starting."
Marc and Marinette got up. "Bye, Marc."
Marc waved as he walked the opposite direction. Marinette made her way up the stairs and into Miss Bustier's classroom. She walked up to Miss Bustier and stretched her arms out, the box in her hands.
"The vanilla one is for you, Miss Bustier."
Miss Bustier picked up the white macaron, "Thanks, Marinette. Why don't you give your classmates' their macarons? We can start class after."
Marinette smiled and nodded. She walked around the classroom, handing out her macarons to all of her friends. Marinette stuttered a bit when giving her passionfruit flavored macaron to Adrien, which earned a bunch of giggles from the people surrounding them. After finishing giving out the rest of the macarons, she finally sat down besides Alya, who picked up her orange macaron and took a bite from it.
"It's amazing, Marinette." She said, with her mouth full. Marinette just smiled and closed the box. She set the box next to her bag on the floor and sat forward, trying her best to pay attention with Adrien right in front of her.
After long hours of class, the bell finally rang. Students hurriedly shoved their papers into their bags and rushed out of the classroom. Marinette and Alya joked around with each other as they walked out of the school. Nino caught up with Alya and put his arm around her.
"Are you ready for our date?"
Alya nodded and waved at Marinette, "Bye, girl! I'll call you later, alright?"
Marinette waved back and turned around, bumping into someone. As she struggled to regain her balance, two hands gripped her shoulders and helped her.
