Falling for Fred Weasley

Chapter 1: Fred and George to Rescue

JULY 1

"Daisy!!!!" 

 her mother yelling for her name. maybe if she ignore she will go away. its only noon. and she's only been home from hogwarts for a few days. 

"GET DOWN HERE DAISY" of course her father joins the yelling too. she guesses she should see what they want. she hops out of bed and throws her hair into a ponytail. running down the stairs, she sees her muggle family, mom, dad, and brother, sitting at the table with empty, dirty plates. looks like they ate without her. whatever, doesn't matter to her anyways, Daisy thinks to herself.

She hears her mom say. "Daisy, we are taking your brother out for dinner tonight. we only reserved three seats because this dinner is just for him. he won ANOTHER sports award! we are so proud of him! You will be staying home tonight though." 

"Okay mom" she says through clenched teeth. of course they did this. typical. all the attention is always on him anyways. they don't understand her, never have, never will. luckily, she doesn't really need them, she has hogwarts, and the weasley's, of course. 

she usually spends half of the summer at the burrow, with her best friends Fred and George. they get out of Hogwarts on June 25th. most years she spends the long, horrible month of July at "home", then gets to go to the burrow for August until school starts. things are getting worse every year at home though, she really doesn't think she will be able to make it through July this year. 

"make sure you clean your room," dad grumbles at her. 

she mutters "Ok" as she walk back up the stairs and shut the door to her room. 

A few hours later she hears her parents yell they are leaving and the door closes. great. some more time all by herself. maybe she will just go to sleep. she has nothing else to do. 

A few hours have passed, and Daisy is just staring at the ceiling. She hears a car outside, thinking its probably the neighbors. she closes her eyes and start to drift off to sleep...

She thinks she hear some giggling that sounds like fred and george. oh, she misses them so much already...

"SURPRISE, DAISY, WE'VE MISSED YOU!" Fred and George yell bursting into her room. 

"AHHHHHHH FRED, GEORGE WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING HERE, IN MY BEDROOM, AT NIGHT???" Daisy screams.

"shhh calm down" says fred in between laughing at her reaction. 

"we're here to rescue you, of course." george adds in while giggling. 

"Oh please tell me you didn't do what i think you did." 

fred says with a sly look in his eye, "what? You mean take the flying car without telling our parents and coming to pick you up so you can spend ALL summer with us....noooo of courseee not"

"we would neverrr do that." George adds with a wink.

"ok ok, guys that's crazy, but let me grab my stuff. its miserable here."

they say in unison "we knew you would come!"

"ive missed you guys." she says while grabbing her wand, clothes, and her other best friend, her cat, Meowsie. 

"we missed Meowsie more." the twins say in perfect unison again. 

she glares at them but the all break into a hysterical laugh. 

Fred grabs her bag, "we're only kidding Ms. Daisy Quinn, now lets hurry before Mom notices we're missing."

"Oh gosh Molly is going to KILL us." she mentions nervously.

"But she will be very pleased to see you!!" George exclaimed. 

"well let's hurry then boys!!"

They all run down stair and right as they are about to sprint out the door, Daisy says, "Oh, i guess i should leave a note or something..." 

She leaves a note on the counter that reads "Headed to the burrow early this summer. Fred and George picked me up. See you. - DQ."

Now, the door, throw her bags on the car and head to the burrow. 

As the car approaches the burrow, Molly runs out with a furious look on her face and her husband Arthur following close behind her. Behind them comes Ron and Ginny looking at each other nervously. 

Fred and George jump out of the car and Molly is already beginning to yell at them, but once Daisy gets out of the car a second later she eases up.

Molly goes up to Daisy and says, "Oh Daisy, of course they were going to get you. I'm glad you're here sweetie." 

Arthur mutters, "and not with those wretched parents of yours." Which made him receive a dirty look from Molly.

All of the Weasley's know of Daisy's home life: the neglect, the unkind and harmful words. So molly and arthur take great care of her. And Molly knew when her boys brought her here early, that she needed it. 

And daisy did need it. She sent the boys a letter the day after they got home from Hogwarts saying how much she missed and needed them and thats what prompted them to pick her up early. Daisy really was not expecting them to do that, but was so glad they did. She was glad she had the two of them. She really never had bonded with girls very good and she really doesn't know why. But fred and george, they are her boys, and she loves them.

Arthur says, "Well let's all go inside then. You kids need some rest. Daisy you can bunk with Ginny per usual." 

"Orrrr she can stay in our room." Fred and George add in at the same time. 

Molly looks at them with a stern face, "She will be just fine in Ginny's room, boys."

Arthur speaks with a small smile "we will think about it another night."

they all head inside and go to sleep. this will be a fun summer for sure.
