Falling for Fred Weasley

Chapter 6: Halloween Feast

October 31

At the Halloween feast the Triwizard champions are being chosen. Daisy was curious to see if Cedric would get chosen, and sure enough, he did.

Fred and george both groaned wishing they could have put their names in. 

As Cedric walked to Dumbledore after his name being picked, he walked past Daisy and grinned at her. 

But Fred took her attention away very quickly by throwing a strawberry at her. "Oops, my bad Daisy."

George laughed at the two of them and threw something at Fred. 

Fred whispered to Daisy and George , "Guys lets get out of here. Its halloween. Lets have a little fun. See something spooky." 

daisy whispered back "Lets do it, come on George."

The three of them crept out of the great hall while everyone was distracted with Harry's name being called. Perfect distraction. 

Now that they were on the stairs, Daisy asked, "So guys whats the plan? Forbidden Section in the Library? Dungeon? Forbidden Forest?"

Fred and George answered at the same time, "Dungeon"

as they headed down to the dungeon daisy heard some noises, "Uh, guys did you hear that?"

Fred answered, "Scared already, Ms. Quinn?"

George added, "come on now, its nothing."

All of a sudden something skidded across the hallway then straight at the trio. 

Fred screamed, "AHHHHHHHH" 

Meowsie, Daisy's cat jumped into her arms. Daisy exclaimed, "Meowsie!!! what in the world are you doing down here. did big bad Snape kidnap you or something? Also nice scream Freddie."

George was on the ground laughing hysterically while Fred caught his breath.

"what in the world is your cat doing in the dungeon??" Fred exclaimed. 

Then another noise appeared behind them, a cough to be exact. "ahem, 'big bad snape' is that right ms. quinn? what are you three troublemakers doing down here?" Snape said as he grabbed the collars of the twins shirts. 

Daisy looked at Snape a little scared, but all trying to contain a giggle, "We are just looking for Meowsie of course, and Fred and George were helping me. You wouldn't want me going to the Dungeons by myself at night right?"

Snape rolled his eyes. "sure. We will see what McGonagall has to say about this ." Snap escorted the three back the great hall where McGonagall was standing. most everyone had gone back to their common rooms by now, with the exception of Cedric and Harry. 

Daisy noticed Cedric was watching the three walk in, The boy's shirt collars still in Snaps's grip and Meowsie in her arms. 

McGonagall looked at them and sighed, "Yes, Professor Snape?"

Snape answered, "these three were wandering in the dungeons probably making mischief or snogging. I think they should be punished, detention and house points taken is what i suggest."

Daisy interjected, "Snogging? are you crazy? with both of them...at the same time? i dont think so. Thats sick." 

Fred and George are both trying to contain laughter, Fred adds, "she's right, very sick!" then under his breath adds, "It would only be one of us" Which was responded with a slap to the back of head from snape and a giggle escaped daisy and George. 

Cedric then walked over. "Come on Professor, she was obviously looking for her cat. She has been talking about how it was missing earlier today. Plus she would not be snogging the Weasley boys." he said while putting his arm around Daisy.

McGonagall then raised her eyebrows and said, "she obviously has her cat with her. you all are dismissed, get to bed."

As the four of them walked out Daisy looked at Cedric and said, "Thank you! That definitely got u out of weeks of detention."

Fred look at him, "I think we had it under contro-"

"But thank you, we all appreciate it." George interrupted while glaring at Fred, who was avoiding all eye contact. 

"well we are all headed to bed, thanks again." Daisy said while staring at Fred wondering why he is acting this way.

The twins and Daisy walk bad to their dorms in silence, with he occasional shared glances between George and Daisy, wondering why fred was being so short with Cedric. 

"See you guys in the morning." Fred said quietly.
