Daisy avoided Fred as much as she could for the next few weeks. She only talked to George, who honestly felt bad for her, for what his stupid brother had done. Because he knew both of them had feelings for each other. He knew Fred was being an idiot, and he didn't know why.
Instead of sitting in between the twins she only sat on the other side of George. He told her he had asked Alicia Spinnet, another Gryfindor to the Yule Ball. Good for him she thought. Maybe he actually wants to go with her.
Daisy had made plans to get ready with Ginny and Hermione to go to the ball. Although Daisy could not stand one of Ginny's brothers right now, she could still spend time with Ginny who was like a little sister to her and Hermione was going with Victor Krum who was also a Triwizard champion.
She did not talk to Fred once during these weeks. She hated it
