Chapter 17

Lisa almost fell down but the wall supports her. She breathing heavily. She sweating so bad and she could feel her body so uncomfortable.

"Oh come on. What is going on?" Lisa mutters.

She tries to walks again but slowly. She went to her office and puts the files on her desk.

Then, she sits on the couch and puts her hands on her face.
"It so hot..." Lisa sigh.

She never feels this hot. She unbuttons a few buttons and reveals her collarbone.  That time also, someone knocks.

"Come in." Lisa calls.

The door opens and reveals Aiden. He went in.

"Lisa, can I-" He stops talking when saw Lisa's condition.

"Lisa!! Are you okay!? You look pale!!!" Aiden rush to her.

"I'm okay. I just tired that's all." Los smiles weakly.

Aiden put his hand on her forehead and feel her temperature. He gasps and looks at Lisa with shocks.

"You burning!!! You have a fever, Lis!!!" Aiden yells.

"It just a small fever." Lisa insisted.

"It not!! You don't have enough rest these past few days?" Aiden asks.

"I have. My fever always came without any reason. It since childhood." Lisa shrugs her shoulder.

"You don't want to tell Mr. Jeon?" Aiden asks.

"W-Why?" Lisa asks.

"Maybe he can give you a day off. Look at your condition. You can't force yourself." Aiden says.

"I'm just fine." Lisa smiles.

"Lis, you are not. Stop pretending." Aiden scolds her.

Lisa let out a heavy sigh.  She hates the hospital. It was so boring.

"Come on, Lis." Aiden holds her arms.

"I don't want it!!" Lisa pulls back.

"Lisa!! It will get worse!!!" Aiden scolds.

"I said...I DON'T WANT!!!" Lisa pulls back but this time very hard.

Aiden loses balance and fell on top of her. His arms trapping Lisa and their face is really close.

Their eyes widen in shocks. That time also, the situation become more worst.

"Lisa, today I-" Jungkook stops talking when seeing the position of them.

Aiden stands properly and clears his throat. Jungkook looks at Lisa and her clothes are not fully buttons.

"M-Mr Jeon. We just...discussing." Aiden smiles awkwardly.

Lisa can't stop looking at Jungkook. His face just blank. Then, he chuckles.

"It okay. I understand it." Jungkook smiles.

"Okay. I will go now." Aiden bowed and went out but before that, Jungkook holds his arms.

"Y-Yes, sir?" Aiden asks.

"You are lucky that I need you in this company." Jungkook whispered.

Aiden didn't understand it. He doesn't have any idea what he's talking about.

"Okay..." Aiden nods slowly.

He walks away. Lisa just froze there. Jungkook turns to Lisa with a serious gaze.

"Today I don't feel like to have a meeting. Cancel it." By that, Jungkook went out.

Lisa let out a breath that she hold just now. She pushes her hair back.
