Chapter 46

Lisa receives a message from Rose. She smirks and goes to the basement. Before this, it empty but now it full of boxes. It the place where Jungkook keeps all the things for events decoration.

She opens the door and turns on the light. Her smile faded when she remembers something. Where Jungkook locks her up here for the whole day and that time she's in fever. A high fever. 

Her breathing becomes heavy. But, it all gone when she shakes it off. 

Past is past

Lisa walk-in and tries to find the right box. She looks everywhere but it all not she wanted. 

"Where did Jungkook put that box?" Lisa mutters.

She opens one box and saw birthday party decorations. She shakes her head and pushes the box away.

She looks around and found the boxes that have written the 'Christmas box' on it. The problem is, it so high.

The box is arranged like a mountain so it on the high one. Lisa let out a frustrated groan.

"I know you are tall Jungkook!! But why you have to put it all that up!!??" Lisa complaining.

Jungkook finishes eating his food and puts the plates inside the dishwasher. He washes his hands and feels his phone vibrating inside her pocket.

He wiped his hands before he takes his phone out. A message from Rose.

CHRISTMAS PARTY!! YOU ARE INVITED!!- Rose

"Christmas party? So sudden. Does Lisa know about this?" Jungkook asking himself.

He went out expecting Lisa in the living room. But, she's not even there. 

"Where is she?" Jungkook frowns.

Lisa comes over to chill out with him and now she's not there. Jungkook went upstairs and check their bedroom but still, she's not there.

"Seriously, where is she?" Jungkook closes the door and sighs. 

"This house is not big. There's no way she lost." Jungkook added.

He went downstairs. He already checks everywhere but there's no sign of her. Only one place he hasn't check.

"Basement. But, if she there, what is she doing?" Jungkook asking himself.

He moves his legs to the basement and from the stairs, he hears something like someone working in the basement room.

Jungkook goes opens the door and his eyes widen, when saw Lisa standing on the box while trying to reach the high boxes.

"Lisa!!!" Jungkook yells.

Lisa startled and she loses balance. She about to fall and Jungkook as fast as he can catch her like a bride style.

"Phew. That was close." Jungkook sighs in relief.

He glares at Lisa who has shocked expressions.

"Yahhh!! What are you trying to do!!??" Jungkook shouts at her. 

"I..." Lisa was too scared to talk. 

"You could get hurt you know!!! Why you just call me and ask for my help!? What if you fall on the ground!?" Jungkook scolds her with anger.

Lisa pushes him harshly and she stands on her own foot. She looks down while gripping on her clothes. Jungkook forgot that she was still scared of him.

"H-Hey, I'm sorry." Jungkook moves forward but Lisa stumbles back. His angry side is to remind her of the old him.

"Lisa, forgive me. I didn't mean to scolds you like that. I was just too scared that something might happen to you." Jungkook explains.

Lisa didn't respond to anything but just look down. Jungkook moves his legs slowly towards her.

"Princess..." Jungkook calls.

With that sweet nickname and soft voice make Lisa lifted her gaze.

"I know you still trauma so I will wait for you." Jungkook smiles.

Lisa feels her heart calms. She walks closer to him and holds his shirts.

"I'm sorry..." Lisa apologized.

Jungkook smiles and bends down until he reaches her high. Lisa blushing and looks away.

"My princess is blushing." Jungkook smirks.

She smacks his arms. "Stop it. Anyway, can you help me take that box?"

"Sure." Jungkook answer.

He helps her and hands it over to her. Lisa grins and walks away just like that.

"Wow. She just walks away without thank you?" Jungkook jaw drops.

He follows her after turns off the lights and closes the door. He saw Lisa puts down the box and huffs.

"What are you going to do?" Jungkook asks.

"Decorated for Christmas." Lisa answer.

Jungkook shocks by her words. She opens the box and takes a picture of the things inside it.

"But that was my things." Jungkook says.

"I know. We will celebrate Christmas together." Lisa turns around with smiles.

"T-Together?" Jungkook asks.

She nods. He feels like he wants to hug her and kisses all over her face but he knows he has to hold it.

"What's wrong?" Lisa asks when she realized that he didn't say anything.

"N-Nothing. Just...shocks that you suddenly saying that." Jungkook says.

"Well, Rose wants to invite us for a big-" Lisa ignore it.

"Big party, I know. I thought you didn't know." Jungkook looks down.

"I know." Lisa chuckles.

Jungkook walks closer to her. He wants to say something but Lisa cuts him off.

"Kook, can you help me to clean this?" Lisa gives the decoration to him.

"W-Wha-" Lisa once again cuts him off.

"Make sure there's no dust on it. I want to do something." Lisa says.

"Lisa, I want to-" Lisa cuts him off again.

"Thank you, kook!!" Lisa walks away.

Jungkook let out a heavy sigh. He looks down. "Guess, I couldn't tell her."

Little did he know, Lisa smirks while looking at him from the kitchen. Jungkook walks away and does what Lisa asks him to do.
