Chapter 5: Double edged plan

Hook POV

 Emma had been there for a month. I had been on the island several times and Emma had said he was falling for her. I went to the island today and I told her that today was the day. She was finally going to be able to go home. I told her to bring him to his thinking tree.

 I was going to bury a sword for her to use to kill him and I told her exactly where it was going to be. I was going to be there in case things went bad. She was so sheltered; I doubt she’s ever seen anyone being killed.

 I sat and waited until I saw them in the clearing. If things went according to plan then we would be out of here within a couple of hours but if things don’t go to plan then I’m ready to jump into action. They sat at his tree and she sat on his lap. It made me jealous, she looked like she had feelings for him.

 They sat there for awhile, just talking and laughing. She said she had to go to the “bathroom” but really she was going to uncover the sword. Pan sat there not knowing what was about to happen to him. When she had come back he stood up. The sword was in the back of her pants from what I could tell.

 Once she got close enough to pan she brought the sword out and stabbed him. She looked confused like she didn’t know what to do next. She backed away a few steps but before she could get far Pan moved. The next thing I know the two of them are on the ground. That was not in the plan.

 I ran over to Emma and she had the sword inside of her. It was right in the middle of her stomach. Pan kept moving around so I took my sword out and slit his throat. Make him die a painful death for hurting my dear Emma.

 I picked her up making sure not to move the sword and I ran as fast as I could to the Jolly Roger. Once on board we set course for the Enchanted Forest. Now that Pan is dead getting out of here is a lot easier. You don’t need magic beans in Neverland. You can just jump to any relm from Neverland.

 Once the course was set, Smee was set to steer the ship so I could keep a careful eye on Emma. Nothing could happen to her. Her breathing became labored and she couldn’t talk because it hurt so much. So I did all the talking.

 “Emma I’m so sorry this happened to you. I knew I should’ve figured out another way” I hated myself for letting her get hurt. I watched her as it became harder for her to keep her eyes open.

 “Emma stay with me. Keep your eyes open” she opened them one last time before they closed for good. She wasn’t dead but she wouldn’t open her eyes. Every couple of minutes I’d making sure she was still breathing but I wouldn’t dare to move her. Not in the state she was in.

 “Emma need you here. I love you” I needed to get out my feelings. I couldn’t risk having her die without her knowing my true feelings about her. Especially since I’m the reason she is dying.

 “CAPTAIN WE ARE HERE” That was all I needed before I carefully picked Emma up and brought her above deck. The docks were only a couple miles from where the castle is.

 I told my men to stay on the ship no matter what. I knew that once I gave the kingdom back its princess I’d never see my beloved ship again. But that is the price I have to pay for the one I love most. Once the guards saw me they surrounded me.

 “GET THE KING AND QUEEN IT’S THE PRINCESS!” The biggest one yelled. Once one of the guards took Emma, they immediately put me in handcuffs. The queen ran to follow her daughter while King Charming came over to me.

 “Get this pirate out of my sight. I’ll deal with him later. I need to go save my daughter” That was all the guards needed to hear apparently because they took me to the dungeon where there was nothing. It was basically an empty room. It had a small rug that you could call a bed with a blanket and pillow but that was it.
