Chapter 13 part B: Strange Behavior

Hey guys had another long day. i wasn't even sure if i was going to be able to update today but thankfully i was. As for tomorrow my father is coming to town so i'm hanging out with him tomorrow. not sure how long i'll be out but i'm hoping to update tomorrow. Emma POV

"What do you want for breakfast dearie"

"Just toast and some fruit please. I'm not too hungry I'm hoping we could go to town later." He winked and I laughed.

Hook POV:

As I handed Emma her breakfast I noticed something. She is acting quite strange. Like something isn't right. I hope I didn't do anything to make her like this. But then again it could just be stress from Pan and planning the wedding. I'm hoping that going to town today will make her feel better.

I'm going to bring her to a jewelry shop and give her a gift. Or maybe I should get her a new hood; I mean the one she always wears is getting old. There is just so much that I could get her but I don't know which one to get.

During breakfast we didn't talk much we mostly ate in silence until I would ask a question which she would awkwardly answer with one word. Something is really bothering her and I want to get to the bottom of it before anything happens.

After breakfast she asked if she could be alone for a bit so I went to the gardens and walked around. I started picking flowers that Emma would like. I know she isn't much of a flower person but still a nice thing to do.

Emma POV

I wanted to be alone so I could start planning the wedding. I know I'm making Killian suspicious but I didn't want him to know a lot. I wanted a lot of this to be a surprise. I came up with ideas and after breakfast I was going to tell my mom but a guard stopped me and said she wanted to see me in the stable.

I went to my room and quickly changed before heading over to the stable. There I saw my mom and she was tacking up her own horse and mine was already tacked up.

"What's going on"

"We are going on a ride. We need to talk" oh god what is this going to be about.

"I wanted to talk to you about the wedding"

She ignored me and got on her horse. So I did the same and started following her. She didn't take off but she wasn't walking. My horse wanted to go fast, of course so I had to hold him back.

She finally stopped and the both of us got off. She grabbed a blanket off the back of her horse and laid it on the ground. She sat down so I assumed that she didn't bring any food.

"So what did you want to talk about" She didn't say anything at first but then she sighed.

"You've been acting weird lately. Killian was telling me about it and I want to know what's wrong"

"I've been acting "weird" around Killian because I wanted to surprise him for the wedding. I've been thinking about different things for the wedding and wanted them to be a surprise"

"Is that the only reason? Because I don't think it is. Killian is trying really hard to get your attention. He thinks it's his fault that you're acting like this. Honestly I would go and tell him that it isn't his fault. That you're going to surprise him or something just make sure he knows that it isn't his fault" She was right. She is always right. Sometimes I hate that about her.

We talked for a while about different things for the wedding. I then realized it was around lunch time and I promised Killian that I would go into town with him. I told my mother and she obviously understood. I didn't wait for my mom to get on her horse I just got on and took off.

I was at the castle within no time. I handed my horse to a stable boy and quickly ran to my room. I threw off my clothes I was in and went into my closet. I picked this very pretty lavender dress and a hunter green hood. I haven't worn it much since not a lot going with my hood.

I quickly put my hair in a braided updo and before I knew it there was a knock on the door. I made sure I looked alright and went to open the door. When I opened it Killian was standing there with an open mouth.

"Emma you look amazing" I didn't know what to saw and I started to blush. I don't know why I was blushing because he always says I look beautiful and amazing but for some reason I started blushing.
