Chapter 12: Soppy back storys & best date

Emma POV

"We wanted to make sure our daughter was ok" DAD SERIOUSLY!

"Dad I'm fine, can you go home please!! I'm fine Killian is here to protect me" They snuck past Killian and saw me hiding under the covers. His jaw dropped. I thought he was going to pass out. My mom, who was behind him, saw what was going to happen so she dragged him out of the room.

"We will talk about this later Emma" Great the one talk I didn't want to have.

Once we couldn't hear them on the boat anymore Killian got back into bed with me. My dad coming in was really a mood killer so we didn't do anything. Once it got dark we got out of bed and walked out onto the deck. The crew was still out doing go knows what so he was telling me about the ship.

Hook POV

After her father left we didn't do anything since he killed the mood. We took a little nap but once it got dark we went up onto the deck. I talked to her about the ship and showed her what each thing does. I brought her to the front of the ship and we laid down and looked up at the stars.

"How did you become a pirate?" I never told anyone why I became a pirate. Besides my crew no one knows what really happened.

"I used to be a lieutenant on this ship. My brother was the captain. We used to sail for the King. He sent us to Neverland to retrieve Dream Shade"

"Dream Shade? I thought that was poisonous"

"Aye but we didn't know that at the time. So when we got to the island Pan greeted us. He said that our King was going to kill millions of people because of the plants. We denied him and went in search of it anyway. I had doubts about the plant and thanks to Pan I was correct."

"My brother took the plant and scratched his arm with it to prove to me that I was wrong. But of course I wasn't. He dropped dead instantly. Pan appeared and told me of a cure so of course I gave it to him. He never told me the price though. As soon as we landed back in our kingdom he dropped dead again. This time I couldn't save him" A tear left my eye and landed on the ground.

Emma saw this and turned over so she faced me. She wiped away the other tears that were forming and hugged me.

"It wasn't your fault Killian, you didn't know"

"It is my fault I could've stopped him from doing it. He didn't have to do it. I should've stopped him" I cried more and the more I cried the harder Emma hugged me.

"After we threw my brother overboard I decided that I was no longer sailing under the King. I knew I had to become a Pirate and take revenge. Revenge for my brother. I planned for years to kill the King but I could never do it. For years I stole and killed the king's people. I took their money and food not giving a single thought. That was until I met you. Once I met you everything changed. I no longer wanted to steal or take revenge on anyone. You changed me, for the better."

Emma took my hand and put it on her heart.

"As long as my heart beats, it will always beat for you."

Emma POV:

"After we threw my brother overboard I decided that I was no longer sailing under the King. I knew I had to become a Pirate and take revenge. Revenge for my brother. I planned for years to kill the King but I could never do it. For years I stole and killed the king's people. I took their money and food not giving a single thought. That was until I met you. Once I met you everything changed. I no longer wanted to steal or take revenge on anyone. You changed me, for the better."

After Killian said that I almost started to tear up. Killian said I changed him for the better and that's the best thing anyone has ever said to me. Although I did feel bad for him because of Pan his brother was dead and he had no family left. He is alone besides my family. To make him feel better I took his hand and put it on my heart.

"As long as my heart beats, it will always beat for you." We both looked at the stars hand in hand with a blanket on top of us. By far the most romantic date I've ever been on. Even though all my dates have been with Killian but who cares. I love him all the same. I can't wait to start my life with him and start a family. I hope that our kids look like him. He has the best blue eyes and the darkest brown hair. I can't wait for our wedding night.
