Chapter 16: Day before the Wedding

Emma POV

It has been a month and our wedding is tomorrow. Killian is a lot better now and he only sometimes feels pain in his ribs. Killian and I were hanging out today since after dinner we really won't see each other until the wedding. My parents didn't want us leaving the castle without them, because of our incident last time.

"I can't wait to see you in that dress tomorrow" Killian said touching my nose.

"I can't wait till tomorrow night! Are we going to be alone on the ship tomorrow?" He nodded yes and he did his famous smirk. We both knew exactly what was going to happen tomorrow night.

We had all our meals brought to my room since we didn't want to leave the room. We wanted to be together as much as we could before we were separated.

My mom would occasionally come in and check on us. She probably wanted to make sure that we remained faithful. Honestly I'm waiting, I know Killian hasn't but that was his past. And I'm his future.

"Tell me about all your adventures" I turned so I was facing him as he was talking. The fact that he didn't have a shirt on made it even better.

When he told his stories his face just light up like he misses sailing around the world. I wonder if I told him I would sail around the world if he would do it or not. I know his heart is in the sea, but I can't leave my kingdom. My parents will die one day and I will take over as the new Queen.

"If I were to tell you I would go sailing around the world with you, would you?" He had to think about it for a minute. Honestly I wasn't even sure he would respond.

"I would love that with all my heart, but I know that you will have a kingdom to run and I can't let you give that up. You were raised your whole life to run the kingdom." Honestly I was hoping for a different outcome. I was hoping he would say yes and that he wanted to run away with me.

Around the middle of the day both my parents came in, along with my brother. They wanted to talk about the wedding, basically how the day will run and such.

"First we will have the ceremony, after you two get some alone time where your dad and I will make sure everything is running smoothly. After that you will come into the party where we will have toasts, dinner and most of all dancing. Once the night is over, we have arranged a carriage to take you two to Killian's ship where you will spend the night alone. In the morning we will all say goodbye and you will be off on your honeymoon" That sounds like a very long day if you ask me.

"Oh I almost forgot there will be several dances. First will be you and your father, then your brother, then myself and last Killian. Also Killian if you want while Emma is dancing with her father, I can dance with you."

"Thank you Snow for the kind offer but I will decline. You can watch your daughter dance on her special day. I don't mind" That was the nice way to put it. Although Killian likes my mother they have their disagreements. Mostly about things that have to do with pirates of course.

"Are you meeting us in the morning or are we going to you guys? Also are my clothes already packed?" Questions that I needed answering.

"We are meeting you and Johannah already packed your clothes and they're on the ship don't worry. "

After that my parents left and we just continued to talk about pointless things. Where we were going for our honeymoon, and basically what we are doing. There are several places where we are staying on land for the night. I have no idea what is really going on for the honeymoon. He tells me the basics since he planned the whole thing.

He wanted the honeymoon since I got to plan basically the whole wedding. His friends were all coming later today and they were taking him out to do things. I told him that nothing crazy was going to happen. My friends weren't coming till tomorrow so I'm alone tonight.
