Chapter 15: Finishing the fight

Sorry it is so short but i had to shovel snow this morning. I might upload again later depending on how i feel. But if not i'll do it tomorrow! A big storm is coming the next couple of days.

Killian POV

 I was still on the ground since Black Beard stopped punching me. I couldn’t move I was so hurt. I heard two swords hitting each other and I looked over and it was Emma and Black Beard fighting. I tried to move but each time I tried to move I always just fell back down.  I knew Emma couldn’t win this fight. No one has ever won a fight with Black Beard.

 I looked over and saw Emma and she looked as if she might actually win. I knew her father was giving her lessons but I didn’t know she was this good. She tripped and fell flat on her back and Black Beard put his sword on her throat. Before he could do anything she kicked his leg and he fell on the ground.

 “Leave this kingdom and never come back before I have guards come and kill you because trust me I will have it done if you don’t leave right now.” Emma released the blade from his throat and they all left the restaurant. Once they were all gone Emma came over to me and took a towel and tried to stop the bleeding.

 “It’s alright Killian I’ll stop the bleeding” She yelled for a doctor but no one came forward. She called for a horse and finally one was brought to the door. She had to help pick me up but another man put me on the horse. Emma took off towards the castle and as soon as we were in the gate the guards took him off and she told them to take me to the doctors.

 They took me off the horse and last I saw Emma got off the horse and followed me. I don’t remember much after that since I was in and out of consciousness. I didn’t think that he had hit me that hard but apparently he did a lot of damage.

 Emma POV

 Killian had a severe concussion and some broken bones. He was still in and out of consciousness and has been for two days still. The doctors said that he should be fine in a week or two but to take it easy. I’ve been sitting next to his bed for the past couple of hours.

 Once the doctor left my parents went out to thank him and I continued to sit next to the bed. I can’t believe this happened. But Black Beard is never coming back, I hope.

 “What happened Emma ?” my dad asked. For all they know we went into town and came back and Killian was beaten.

 “We were in town and we went into a restaurant to eat. Black Beard came in and saw Killian and beat him up. I took a sword and fought him and won. Once Black Beard left I took Killian and brought him back here”

 “Well the doctor said that someone should watch him at all times. Just until he becomes conscious for more than 6 hours” I told them I would take the first shift but my mom insisted on staying with me so we can talk about the wedding.

 She left for a couple minutes to get all the papers for the wedding. While she was away Killian opened his eyes, I offered him water which he took but he didn’t drink a lot of it.

 “Hey, the doctor says that you have to rest for two weeks.”

 “What happened, what’s wrong with me”

 “You have a bad concussion and you broke a couple bones. But don’t worry you can help with planning the wedding.” He nodded but started closing his eyes. He said he was tired so I let him go back to sleep.

 My mom came in right after he fell back asleep. We walked over to the far side of the room where the desk was. All the papers were spread out and we started looking at all of them.

 “I want a big puffy dress mom. Also we are inviting all of Killian’s and my friends. Killian and I also agree that we want a moment to ourselves after the ceremony ok.” She nodded in agreement and we started talking about the food and drinks.
