Chapter 10 part 1: Ball gone wrong

Emma POV

Today was the day of the ball. Killian was all ready and walking around the castle. I told him that I wanted him to wait to see me till I made my appearance. My mother was doing my hair and makeup which she was doing flawlessly. Once she was done I placed the tiara on my head and put on my dress.

It is beautiful just like I imagined. I still had about an hour until I made my appearance so my mom stayed with me. She was already done and ready to go. She knew it would take forever to get Killian ready so she got ready before.

"Are you excited for tonight" I nodded yes. Today is my 18th birthday and I have a feeling something big will happen. My mom has been acting really weird today like she knows something.

Once the hour was up my mom walked me to where my entrance is. My dad was waiting for us and when he saw the two of us he looked as if he is about to cry.

"You guys look amazing. I can't believe I was ever so lucky"

Once we heard the music playing my dad took my moms arm and started walking through the door. Next was my little brother Neil and lastly me. My dad met me at the bottom of the stairs for our first dance. It was just like we rehearsed. After everyone came into the middle to dance and I went over to Killian. He was talking to his crew and they were all laughing.

When I got over to them Hook pulled me over to him and kissed me on the cheek. Once he finished his drink he handed his glass to Smee and pulled me onto the dance floor. The waltz was going but I don't know how to dance the waltz.

"I don't know what to do"

"Well good for you, you picked a partner that knows what he's doing" He took my hand and we started dancing. He is really good at dancing. I never knew he could dance at all.

"When were you going to tell me that you could dance?" He shrugged. After a minute everyone started looking at the two of us but I was soo in the moment that I wasn't paying attention. Snow came over to us and told us the song was over so we went back into the crowd.

I was so hungry so I went to the food table and tried to act lady like but I was so hungry that I couldn't do it. I started stuffing my face and when people looked over I would try my hardest to cover it up.

"Emma let's dance" Hook grabbed my hand and we went next to my parents. All of a sudden all the music stopped and Hook started talking.

"I have an announcement to make. I love Emma with all of my heart and I never want to be alone. Once I almost lost her I realized that I couldn't live without her. I figured that the best time to do this would be today, a very special day. Emma, will you marry me" I was so shocked I didn't even know what to say. My mother shook me to get my attention.

"Of course Hook" Everyone clapped and we hugged. My parents got in our hug.

The music returned and I was dancing with my dad. He was talking to me about his favorite memories of me when I was a kid. During the middle of the dance someone tapped my dads shoulder and so Hook stepped aside and he bowed.

"How are you Princess" the voice sounded familiar but I couldn't put a face to the voice.

"It has been a good day"

"What kingdom are you from, I think I know you from somewhere"

"Neverland" The man looked up but it was no man at all. It was Peter Pan. I backed away and ran around to find Hook. He was with my parents and the dwarves. When they saw me coming they all looked worried.

"What's wrong Emma"

"Pan he's here" immediately my mom took me as my father and hook started making a plan. My mom brought me into my room and had two guards stand in front of my doors. My mom laid on my bed with me so I could relax. Honestly I couldn't relax not when I knew Pan was here. I killed him in Neverland, I stabbed him in the heart. How could he be alive?
