Back on the bridge at the Castle, everyone was discussing the attack on Olkarion.

"That attack was only the beginning," Lotor stated, "More high ranking officials will start lashing out their power at the Kral Zera without an emperor."

"So, uh, can you explain the Kral Zera? Like, what is it exactly?" Hunk asked.

"It's the coronation ceremony for a new emperor or empress," Lotor explained, "It's held on Feyiv, one of the first planets the Galra conquered."

"Who all is going to be there?" Shiro inquired.

"I can show you. May I, princess?" Lotor directed at Allura who was at the console. When Allura gave consent, Lotor booted up the computer and pulled up images of several different Galra leaders. "This is most fiercest in the empire, Warlord Ranveig."

"You don't get that title from being nice," Lance said.

Nova chortled, "Astute observation."

The Blue Paladin glared at her. "Quiet, you."

"One of Zarkon's most trusted advisors, Commander Gnov, will be there, unifying the inner circle of commanders," Lotor continued. "Quartermaster Janka is in charge of emperial supply routes."

"He's popped up in my database quite a few times," said Pidge, "His management is incredible."

"An lastly, Zarkon's witch, Haggar," proceeded the Galran prince.

"We've met," Shiro said, tensely.

"She's the most dangerous. She's not Galra so she is not eligible to rule, but she mostly like already has a puppet. The Galra would be smart to work against her. Stopping Zarkon's reign would have been for nothing should her puppet take the throne."

"Then we prevent any of them from taking the throne, it's too risky," Shiro added, then turning to the others, "We should help Lotor take command of the Galra Empire."

"You know that's a terrible idea?" Nova frowned, looking at the Black Paladin.

Allura chimed in, "Shiro we already talked about this. It's too risky."

"Before we get involved, let them fight amongst themselves," Lance suggested.

"Lance that's an even worse idea," Nova criticized.

"Do you not remember what just happened on Olkarion?" Shiro argued, "That was just one rogue commander. One who wanted the throne. Everyone in the universe suffers when the Galra lash out."

"How could we get Lotor there without making a scene?" Pidge joined in.

Lotor turned to face everyone. "I'll be bringing Voltron." All the paladins' as well as Nova's jaws dropped.

Hunk frowned, "Yeah, because Voltron never gets in fights."

"Shiro, this can't be allowed to happen," Allura said.

"I agree," Nova stepped up the princess's side. "You realize what a huge mistake that would be?"

Shiro closed his eyes for a minute, seemingly contemplating their words. "I'm sorry to hear that," he said quietly. Then without another word, he left the room."

"What's up with him?" Hunk asked as Lance, Allura, and Nova exchanged worried looks.

Pidge came up beside Nova. "Are you going after him?"

Nova pursed her lips and shook her head. "No. I'm tired of going after him."

After Shiro had left, everyone trickled out until just Nova and Allura remained.
