Chapter 20 - Family Vacation

The driver drop us off at the airport, I usually got here by a taxi but Sabrina had asked her driver to drive us here in the morning. He take our suitcases out of the car before we thank him.

We take our suitcases into the airport all by ourselves, while looking at the air line sign to check us in. After a while we finally checked us in, it's been a long time since the last time I joined a family trip. So I have no idea what are they going to do and where are we going to stay at, I really have no idea because my grandpas has already taken care of it.

"Where's your family?" She asked me as I look around.

"I don't know at the lounge?" I ask back while she only looks at me.

"I'm not being rude but I start to regret saying yes to this vacation," she said then I look at her, are you kidding me.., she dragged us into this.

"I regret born in this family," I say before started to make my way into the lounge with her following next to me.

"My family never really have a vacation with the whole member," She said as we walk into the business lounge.

"I hate flying,"She says.

"Glad it's only hawaii," she said then we stopped right in front of the business lounge, I give the staff our tickets then they let us in.

The lounge is so big but there's not so many people, so it was pretty quiet, I can only see my family members around.

"I didn't know you have so many nieces and nephews," she said while walking next to me.

"I hate kids," I sighed while looking at my nieces and nephews.

"Okay..," She said before my grandpa spotted us then call our names.

"Ansel! Sabrina! finally," he said as we walk closer to him, my grandma is smiling at us while sitting next to him.

They're having a nice breakfast next to the big glass wall which shows the empty runway. The sun is getting up and the sky is turning orange, and it looks beautiful.

"Sabrina.., glad to have you here," Grangpa said to her while giving her a hug.

"Thank you," she smiles.

"Get some snack.., you two," grandpa said before both of us walk away from them.

I see mom is staring at us with a cup of tea in her hand, staring at us with a blank stare. While my dad is busy reading something on his IPad, doesn't care enough that we're here.

I look away and see my step sisters are having a snack together, their eyes are on Sabrina which makes me turn my head to look at her. Turns out Sabrina is looking at my nieces and nephews who play run and chase around the empty lounge, seems like she likes children I don't know but I can clearly see a smile and excitement in her eyes. But my step sisters clearly staring at her for no reason, I don't want her to feel uncomfortable with their stares I jave to take her away from here.

I reach her hand then hold it, making our way quite far from their tables. She looks at me in confused but she doesn't say a thing. What are my sisters doing, staring at her like they don't like her. Sabrina's clearly way more stunning than them, she got better style and of course better face.

"Why are you holding my hand?" She whispered as I take a snack from the snack bar.

"Nothing I just want to keep you away from them," I say to her.

"I never really get a chance to know them you know," She says.

"You don't have to..," I calmly say.
