Enterprise regained consciousness after being knocked out and noticed one was missing. "Where's Essex?"
Belfast noticed that the Carrier was awake and responds. "She stayed behind as the rear guard to cover our retreat Ms. Enterprise."
"Is she still out there?" The Carrier asked to which the maid sighed.
"I've sent Javelin out to Essex location but communications stopped sometime after meeting up with your student." Belfast replied.
"What about Cleveland and Denver?" The Carrier asked.
They're currently patrolling the outside of the island we're in." Belfast explains as she helped Enterprise get into a sitting position.
"But for how long are we going to continue to lose our friends and family in our retreat back to the mainland?" Enterprise wonders.
"This is Cleveland! Denver and I are going to hold ground and I suggest that the two of you make a run for it!" Cleveland yelled out through the comms.
"How long until we reach the mainland?" Enterprise asked as they ran back to sea."In less than a day from our current position without stopping." The maid replies as she made sure Enterprise only looked forward on their retreat.
Somewhere in the English Channel:
A woman knelt down at the sight of Her Majesty's sinking. "My Queen, I wasn't strong enough to protect the Destroyers and yourself as well which means that I failed you."
"Ark Royal you never did fail." Queen Elizabeth managed to say before being fully submerged underwater.
Ark Royal turns around and spotted a fleet Siren Mass Produced Destroyers. "You'll pay for everything you've done!"
Ark then points her rifle and launches a series of Torpedo Bombers.
Back in the Mainland:
"I cannot believe that everyone is starting to lose hope after all the destruction of the Sirens caused! It makes me feel like we're all in 'Yamato 2199'!" Daniel complained as he revved the engine to full.
"What makes you say that?" Fernie asked.
"What I mean is that if it weren't for the ships like my mother figure we wouldn't have the hopes and dreams of living in peace while traveling on the seas!" He replied as he hears a groan from Leo.
"What is it Leo?" He asks.
"I still don't have contact home!" Leo complains.
"Didn't you even try Texting or use the land-line phones at the last rest stop?" Daniel yelled.
"I agree with Daniel on this one Leo as I heard that only those two would would in an emergency like this." Fernie explains.
"Alright but why are we contacting home, considering that its been destroyed by the enemy?" Leo asks.
"For survivors to recruit as the military is busy looking for a new naval base for any remaining shipgirls to head into." Daniel replies as he drove past the windmills of the desert.
Near Sakura Empire:
"I have failed." One said as she prepared her Katana for Seppuku when she noticed a white glove before seeing the person with her usual smile but injured.
"Takao what do you think you're doing?" She asked Takao.
Takao sighed as she responds. "There is no hope to continue on with the fight which means that I must commit Seppuku, Atago and I suggest you should as well."
"I may be to injured to continue to fight but I want you to survive and continue the figgt cause if there's still at least one of us, hope will continue thrive among the humans." Atago explains as she puts her sister's Katana back on its sheath.
"Now go and I'll hold the line here!" Atago orders before giving her sister a spank.
"That playful attitude is what I'm going to miss about you Atago." Takao said with a sad smile before retreating.
