The Last Shipgirls

Chapter 5

The following day, Daniel woke up early and places his mom's plush inside his jacket as he took Liberty to a nearby source of water before taking off his shoes and rolled his pants up after setting up a bucket for any fish.

"Alright Liberty, let's grab some fish." He said to his pet who squeals as she took off from his leather jacket.

Meanwhile his two friends were talking to Daniel's connections about his whereabouts when Edgar said that he went out to find some fish.

When they arrived, they are him trying to grab the fish with his hand before Fernie spoke. "Hey Daniel mind if we join you?"

"Sure, just please don't ask me a lot of questions about my relationship with my mother figure." Daniel replied as both So and Fernie walked into the water with no shoes and pants rolled up.

"So what's your eagle's name Daniel?" Leo asked.

"Her name's Liberty, and she was my mom's 2nd pet as the first has been passed to Enterprise when she was crippled in battle." He explained.

"What was your first reaction to seeing Liberty for the first time?" Fernie asked.

"Well apparently she only let me pet her when mama Yorktown was present, but the first time I was alone with her, she refused to let me touch her until I 'bribed' her with treats like beef jerky and she couldn't resist!" He explained.

"Did any of your parents knew about that?" Leo asked.

"Well, one time mama Yorktown saw me take them and asked me why was I taking the Beef Jerky and I explained everything and she then hits me saying that I am spoiling Liberty with Beef Jerky in order to pet her and that was when she began to train me with everything there is to know about taking care of an eagle and during the course of the years even if I couldn't give her everyday those Beef Jerky, she knew that I was caring for her with mama Yorktown's help." Daniel explained as he noticed the bucket was full.

"Liberty!" Daniel whistles catching the eagle's attention as he grabs a fish from the bucket.

As soon as Liberty landed on his shoulder, Daniel gives the eagle on of the fish they caught.

An Island in the Pacific:

Two shipgirls were fighting each other as soon as they hit the island.

"Are you in league with the Sirens?" The person wielding a katana asked the one with a bow.

"That's funny I should be asking you the same thing." The Bow weilder said scoffing.

"Then why have you followed me?" The one with the katana asked.

"I was originally heading here to do some repairs and find a way to reverse engineer the Sirens Tech in my Cargo bays!" The Bow Weilder explains as she blocks another hit.

"I am the embers of the Great Sakura Empire and no one shall stand in my way!" The katana weilder exclaimed .

"I was part of something called hope who's fire has been extinguished leaving nothing but ash in the air!" The Bow Weilder exclaimed as she remembers those who gave her hope in the past as her eyes began to glow!

"I haven't seen that since Enterprise!" The katana user exclaimed as she jumped backwards to avoid a hit from an arrow.

"Who are you and how'd you know my name?" Enterprise asked.

"My name was Takao." Takao answered as Enterprise stopped firing.

"Let's just compromise on repairs and reverse engineering the Sirens Tech and then we'll be heading on our way." Enterprise said to Takao who then agreed.
