Jungkook got home before his mom did so he went to his room and immediately took his hearing aids out. He wasn't in the mood to talk to his mom. The boy threw himself on the bed and screamed into a pillow. He was over being like this. He didn't understand why he had to develop this.

When his mom knocked on his bedroom door this is what she was met with: Jungkook was asleep with tear stains on his cheeks and the things that were supposed to be in his book bag were thrown everywhere. She sighed and rested on the edge of her son's bed. She sympathized with him, majorly.

She pushed back his bangs and tucked some behind his ear. She noticed he didn't have in his hearing aids and slowly shook her head.

She slowly shook Jungkook's shoulder in order to wake him up. He groaned and slowly opened his eyes to see his mother looking down at him.

"I have dinner made. Please come to eat." Jungkook's mom signed to him. He nodded in return and signed back, "Okay. Give me a minute and I will be down."

She left his room and Jungkook slowly lifted himself off the bed. When he saw all of his belongings scattered, he was slightly confused. He didn't remember throwing his things to the ground.

Jungkook started picking up his belongings off the floor and neatly put them in his book bag before meeting his mom in the kitchen. He knocked his knuckles on the kitchen door in a small rhythm to let his mom know he was in the room. She turned around and smiled.

"Hey! I served your plate already. Come sit." She smiled at the boy. He nodded and sat across from her at their small four-seater table. It wasn't awkward for either them, it was quite relaxing. Jungkook was able to completely block out the world and focus on only what he is doing.

It wasn't often that he took his hearing aids out so when he does it typically means he is having a major emotional detachment from reality.

He finished his food and gave his mom a slight smile before excusing himself from the table. The boy cleaned his dish and retreated back into his bedroom for the night. Once Jungkook arrived at his room, he went to the adjoining bathroom and kneeled down in front of the toilet. He retched into the toilet for the second time that day. This wasn't a normal thing, to hurl more than once a day, once a week was more normal to him.

Jungkook flushed the toilet and cleaned his face then headed towards his bed. He got into bed, covered himself with his duvet, and stared at the ceiling. It's going to be a long night. Jungkook thought to himself.

--

The next morning came very slow for him. The boy only got a few hours of sleep and decided it was time to get ready for school. He contemplated whether or not to wear his hearing aids, but decided to wear them since he does need to learn at least something.

Jungkook arrived at school after eating a small breakfast bar and saying a quick goodbye to his mother. It wasn't long before his classes started. Instead of listening, he stared out of the window by his desk and thought about all the possibilities that could happen to him in the future. It was scary for him.

His daydreaming led him to not paying attention in class and the bell ringing shortly after his realization. Jungkook sighed to himself and packed his things away, leaving for his next class.

As soon as he thought he was safe from the hallways, he was shoved into a locker door. Jungkook let out a small squeak as his reaction to the situation. It was a routine for him. He thought maybe, just maybe, they wouldn't do this within the first week but he guessed wrong.

"The little twerp thought he could avoid us, huh?" The aggressor pulled him up by the collar and held him against the lockers. "Guess what? You couldn't."

Jungkook shook his head and grabbed the guy's hands in an attempt to try and pry him off. He kicked his legs up but received a punch into his stomach as a result.

"S-stop, D-Daes-shim," Jungkook rasped out. He couldn't avoid the stuttering in his voice. "Faggot. Don't talk back to me!"

Daeshim grabbed Jungkook by the hair and was about to throw him into the locker doors again but stopped suddenly. "Oh? I forgot about these little things," He laughed. "How about we just- take these?"

Jungkook tried to fight back and grab his hearing aids but it was useless. Daeshim had dropped him as soon as he ripped them both off of Jungkook's ears. Jungkook sat on the floor, eyes wide in terror. Daeshim had ripped his hearing aids apart.

Daeshim laughed and kicked Jungkook in the stomach again before walking off with his friends. Jungkook laid on the floor in a ball and saw how nobody helped him. He covered his ears and closed his eyes. He didn't want to be there. He didn't want to be anywhere.

The rest of the day was spent with Jungkook in the back of his class' resting his head on each of the desks he sat at. Jungkook couldn't care less if he got in trouble. He wouldn't be able to hear them yelling at him anyways.

The walk home from school wasn't too bad for him, he just wasn't prepared to face his mom. She would know instantly that something was wrong. When he arrived at his house he noticed his mom's car was missing meaning she wasn't home. Junkook released a heavy breath and walked inside.

The boy went straight to his bathroom and stood in front of the mirror. He lifted his shirt up and cursed. Shit. Daeshim really wasn't in a good mood today. Jungkook could see the blue and purple hues of multiple bruises starting to form on his abdomen and sides.

Jungkook sighed and moved to his bedroom and sat at his desk and wrote. He didn't quite know what he was writing but he was scribbling stuff down on a sheet of paper. When he finished he looked at the paper and saw smudged ink. He felt his cheeks and realized he was crying.
