Save Me | Taekook (discontinued version)

chapter eight

-honestly, this may just be an uncomfortable chapter for some... there will be some side effects shown from his condition, slight mentions of things but nothing in detail, along with some major events happening.-

The boy knew what he was in for that night; he was extremely stressed and that was a big no-no for him. He tossed and turned all night and when he was finally able to fall asleep he woke up 30 minutes later and stayed awake for an hour. The cycle repeated until around 5:30 that morning when he got out of his bed and met the bowl of the toilet. He didn't eat much the night prior so it didn't take long for him to empty the contents in his stomach and it soon turns into bile.

He started coughing which made him gag and start to throw up again. It hurt physically when he started puking bile. The boy had tears falling from his eyes wishing he could stop; after 10 minutes or so of constant puking. He was able to drag himself to the bath and turn the water on. He hadn't showered the night before so he was sure he was disgusting now.

Once he got the water at a decent temperature and to the height he wanted, he stripped off his clothing and got in the bath. Jungkook instantly leaned back until his entire head was underwater, not wanting to be here but that wasn't an option for him. He was going to fight and show everyone he could do it. He lifted back up and finished his bath around 30 minutes later, walking out of the bathroom while drying his hair with a towel.

It was close to 6:30 so he decided he was going to attempt to eat breakfast and actually stomach it throughout the day. With that, he went to the kitchen and noticed his mom wasn't there. She must have left early this morning since she didn't come running when I was coughing. He sighed and saw a note on the counter,

'Kook, I noticed you weren't taking them... Yes, I have been counting. Take them or I will end up taking you to see Dr. Seong again.'

Jungkook sighed again. He hated medicine; he hated it with his entire gut. They give you medicine to stop the side effects of one thing and sometimes the medicine has worse side effects than the condition itself. Jungkook hated puking, he hated seizures, he hated migraines, he hated all of it; but it was better than taking medicine. The boy also didn't want to go see Dr. Seong because then he knew he wouldn't have a say in anything anymore since it would be considered 'letting his health purposefully diminish' which he thinks is bullshit. If he wanted to commit he would have done it a while ago.

He grabs a banana and eats it before grabbing a glass of water and taking each of the three pills he needs, downing them in one gulp. He doesn't even know what they are for, he just knows they are supposed to help, which is still bullshit to Jungkook. The boy finished his banana throwing the peel away in the garbage. He still had 45 minutes before he had to go to school which is fine.

Kook goes back to his bathroom to put his hearing aids in and grabs the essentials he needs for school out of his bedroom. He started walking to school even though it only takes 15 minutes to get to school. Doesn't hurt to get a headstart, I guess. Hopefully, today will go decent.

Jungkook wasn't able to cover his bruise since he used Jimin's makeup yesterday. He knows for a fact people are going to be staring more than usual. Daeshim will probably start a scene.

During his train of thoughts, he halted as he came to the front of the school. Everything seemed so foreign to him at this given moment. He felt foreign. The sick feeling rising in his stomach made him snap out of his nervous gaze, grabbing his water bottle out of his bookbag and chugging some of it down.

An episode is not what he wants today. Once he finishes drinking his water, he makes his way into the school, and as he figured: people are staring. He looked at the ground while walking to his locker only to notice it having been decorated with stick-it notes and tape.
