"Father Father !" Draco Malfoy screamed running down the hall, clutching a yellow parchment. "Father, look what i have. My letter! My letter from Hogwarts is here!" He yelled excitedly showing his father the letter. Draco's eyes were shining with excitement. "Why must you be so loud. You must've know the letter would be here at some point" his father said looking down upon him with a disgusted look on his face. "Right, sorry father." Draco said feeling defeated handing his father the letter. The letter which read

"When will we go get my supplies father?" "We can go in a minute. Have Dobby bring around the carriage and one bag of bronze knuts, silver sickles, and golden galleons each. Make sure it's that exactly" "Yes father." Draco ran to the common room to find Dobby sweeping the floors. "Father wants you to bring one bag of knuts, sickles, and galleons each and bring around the carriage." Draco said with his head held high. "We're going to buy my school equipment. I've been accepted into Hogwarts" "Yes sir" Dobby said bowing and running out quickly.Draco and his parents landed in London. "Dobby, come along now carry the money." Lucius said helping his wife out of the carriage. "What first father? Shall we go get my robes?" Draco said looking up at his father longing for his attention. "Yes, you go into Madam Malkin's Robes and i'll go get your books." He said looking around. "Narcissa go get his wand we'll all meet back here when we're done." The Malfoy's dispersed. Draco walked into Madam Malkin's Robes and looked around at the tidy shop lined with robes and shelves of fabric. "Hogwarts, dear?" Madam Malkin said coming from behind a desk. She was a short lady with graying hair. "Yes." Draco said nervously. "Your not the first one. I know a first year when i see one." She said placing a hand on Dracos face.
She led Draco to a footstool in front of a mirror and started measuring his arms and legs. "I'll get someone here in a minute." she said with a warm smile. Draco stood looking at himself in the mirror. Soon a second lady came out with long black robes. "Put this on for me dear." She said smiling. Draco slipped the robe on and she started pinning it. After a while he heard Madam Malkin talking in the front "Hogwarts" he heard her say. Then a boy emerged and stood next to him.
He was scrawny like he didn't eat well. He had long black hair that was a mess all over his head and glasses. Broken glasses. With what looked like tape holding them together. "Well if he's going to Hogwarts why not try and become friends" Draco thought to himself. "Hello, Hogwarts too?" Draco said with a smile on his face. "Yes." The boy said looking quite nervous.
"My father is buying my books and my mother's buying my wands. Then i'm going to ask father if we can look at the racing brooms. I really want one but first years aren't allowed to have them. I think i'll get my father to buy me one and i'll sneak mine in somehow. It's only right." The young Draco said proudly. The scrawny messy haired boy looked at Draco and then turned away. Draco looked at the floor awkwardly. "Have you got your own broom yet?" He asked. "No." The boy said. "Play quidditch much?" "No." he answered again. "Jeez he doesn't do much of anything does he? What's he been living under the bridge all his life?" Draco thought .
