Draco, Crabbe, and Goyle all went back to their seats. "Wow," Crabbe said. "It's really him." Draco rolled his eyes. "He thinks he's better than me or something, that Potter." He thought. Someone slid the door open and Draco looked up. A girl with large brown hair and two big front teeth. "You guys should put your robes on we'll be there any minute." Then she closed the door and left. "Who's that?" Draco asked opening the door to watch her walk away. "A girl by the name of Hermione Granger." Said Crabbe. "Both her parents are muggles." Goyle added. Draco sat back down looking defeated. If she was a mud-blood his father would never approve.
The boys put on their robes when they heard a booming voice in the train say "We will be reaching Hogwarts in exactly five minutes. Please leave all your luggage on the train they will be taken in the school separately ." Once the train stopped everyone got out and waiting for them was Hagrid, holding a lantern "C'mon mind yer step. All first years. Anymore first years?" His loud voice boomed.
The group of first years followed Hagrid down a dark narrow path. Nobody spoke very much but there was an occasional sniffle from somebody in the back. "Ye'll get yer first sight o Hogwarts in just a sec." The large man said. There was silence then a large "Ooooh!" The path opened onto a large black lake and on top of a high mountain stoop sat Hogwarts school of whitchcraft and wizardry.
"No more then four to a boat!" Hagrid yelled, Draco, Goyle, and Crabbe all got into a boat. Once Hagrid made sure everyone was in it he yelled "Foward!" and the plethora of boats moved all at once. All gliding on the lake. The school became larger as they got closer. The boats were carried through a dark tunnel where they reached a underground harbor. Hagrid handed a young boy a toad and he screamed out in Joy.
Everyone walked up a large flight of stone steps that led to a huge oak door. "Everyone here? You there, still got yer toad?" Hagrid raised his fist and knocked on the door three times and the door swung open.
