Draco walked all the way to the end of the train, Crabbe and Goyle following behind him like minions. He slid open the door. It was the boy from the robe shop. "No way he was Harry Potter my father told me all about what happened with him and you-know-who. How could it be this skinny kid with messy hair and broken glasses?" Draco thought to himself. "Is it true? he asked. "Everyone's saying Harry Potter is in this compartment. I'm guessing it's you."
"Yes." said Harry. Harry started to look at Crabbe and Goyle, Draco noticed. "This is Crabbe and this is Goyle." He said pointing to each of them. "And my names Malfoy, Draco Malfoy." He said proudly. The boy next to Harry chuckled. "Something funny? I needn't ask who you are. My father told me all about you Weasleys runts with red hair, freckles, and more children than they can afford clearly." Draco said looking at his tired wand and fat rat sitting on his lap.
He turned back to Harry "Sooner or later you'll find that some families are better than others, Potter. You don't want to go making friends with the wrong sort do you? I can help you there." Draco held his hand out for Harry to shake, but he refused. "I think i can tell who the wrong sort are all by myself thank you." Harry said ignoring Draco's hand. Draco could feel his cheeks getting warm but his pale face didn't alter. "I'd be careful if i were you, Potter." He turned to leave then said "Unless you want to go the same way your parents did. They clearly didn't know what was good for them either. You hang around idiots like Weasley and that Hagrid and it'll rub off on you."
"Say it again." Weasley said turning redder than his hair.
"What, are you going to fight with us Weasley?" Draco said mockingly.
"Unless you leave." Harry said.
"No. I don't think we feel like leaving. Do we boys? We've eaten all our food and it seems as if you two have plenty." Draco said as Goyle reaches for the Chocolate frogs next to Harry.
As Goyle reaches for the Chocolate frogs the rat that was sitting in the red haired boys lap jumped up and bit Goyles finger. Goyle yelled out in pain as the rat hung off his finger. He finally let go and disappeared. So did the boys.
Draco didn't know how to feel. Perhaps happy, content even. All he knew was that his father would have been very proud of the way he went about the conversation.
