Draco, Crabbe, and Goyle told Snape all about the wizarding duel. Then they went to sleep happy they tricked Harry Potter into getting himself in trouble.
The next day Malfoy was shocked to see Harry and Ron. "How'd they-" he thought. He was staring at them wondering how they'd gotten off when he saw Hermione walk in and sit down. She looked rather, angry. The owls came into the Great Hall and dropped packages along the tables. One owl dropped a think long package right in front of Harry Potter.
"Whats Harry got?" Crabbe said peering over heads. "A NIMBUS TWO THOUSAND! I've never even touched one." Ron Weasley shouted. Draco Malfoy shot up and walked straight over to Potter and took his package. "That's a broomstick. You'll be in for it now Potter, first years aren't allowed brooms." Draco said throwing it back down on the table.
"It's not just a broomstick, it's a Nimbus two thousand. What'd you say you had at home Malfoy? A Coemt two sixty?" Ron smiles at Harry.
"What would you know about it,Weasley, you couldn't afford the handle, I suppose you and your brothers have to save up twig by twig." Malfoy snapped.
"Not arguing, I hope boys?" Professor Flitwick said appearing out of nowhere.
"Potters been sent a broomstick." Malfoy said quickly.
"Yes, yes that's right. Professor McGonagall told me all about the special circumstances. What model is it, eh Potter?"
"A Nimbus two thousand sir." He said. Malfoy had a look of horror on his face.
