Chapter 9.

Ava's POV 

Hayley drives me to work in her BMW, and I can't turn back now. I don't know what Hayley is going to do, and I'm quite scared for her to get hurt if this turns out badly. We arrive, and Hayley gives me a serious face but takes my hand.

"You ready to go inside?" She asked. 

"Yea I guess." I said as held her hand tight.

"Hey, it's gonna be okay, alirght?" 

"I hope so" 

Hayley nodded her head, and we entered the bulding.

"Where is she?" Hayley asked.

I lead her into the hallway, where I saw the girl. Hayley looked around and so did I, but we didn't see a familar face. Then I saw her, and she saw me.

"Hey, shorty! How's you shitty life going?" She said.

"Uh...uh.." I said.

Hayley pulled me behind her, and went up to her and looked her right in the eyes.

"Excuse me?" Hayley said.

"I'm pretty sure you heard it, dumbass" She said

"If your goal is to critize me and make me upset, it really isn't working, failing actually. Now I'm going to ask you in the kindest way possible, and stay away from Ava. Picking on her isn't gonna make you cool, it just makes you look like a douchebag. Please stop" 

"You're asking to get hit, buddy!" 

"If you're gonna hit me, that lame. My name is Hayley by the way."

"Hayley..." I interupptued. 

Hayley took my hand and I squezzed her hand.

"Awh shorty, you can't say shit, you have to get this smurf to do it!" She said.

"Shut the hell up bitch!" I shouted.

Hayley let go of my hand and looked me shocked, then smiled. She mouthed "good job" Then she turned around to the unknown girl.

"What did you just say to me?" She said.

Out of nowhere, she went to punch me, but Hayley grabbed her hand and pushed her back, but she didn't fall.

"You did not just mess with me, Alice" 

Alice. 

"There is no way you're gonna hurt her when I'm around, don't be strange" Hayley said.

Alice punched Hayley, and Hayley went down to the floor, I screamed no, but Alice pushed me and I hit the ground hard. 

"Bang bitch," Alice said "You think I'm strange bitch? Don't worry about me," As Alice points at me and punches Hayley in the stomach and face "I got it all arranged bitch!" 

I start to cry, knowning that Hayley's face is bruised and her noise is bleeding. 

Hayley got up, punched Alice, and kicked her until she fell, and said:

"Stay in your lane bitch!" 

As Alice went up to punch Hayley, I get right in front of Hayley and get punched myself. The pain stung, and my vision got blurry, and the last thing I heard and saw was Hayley in shock and shouted,

"AVA!" 

Hayley's POV

I saw Ava fall to the ground, and I shouted her name. No answer. That's when I knew that I had to take care of Alice. Ava protected me from a vicious punch, and I couldn't thank her more. Alice pinned me into a wall, and slammed me 3 times before slamming me onto the ground. My vision was beginning to fade, put I'm not turning back now. I punched Alice hard in the face. I paused when Alice was on the floor, she was whimpering in pain, but I heard something else. 

"Alice, shut up!" I said, and she did. 

It was sirens. Shit. I went over to Ava, and she was still breathing. I wanted to wake her up, and I started to cry. My vision was beginning to fade, and I put hands on her face.

"Baby? Baby!" I shouted "Answer!" 

All of the sudden, I heard the police break into the door, along with the paramedics. I moved out of the way and helped the paramedics pick of Ava and put her onto a strecher, and they asked about me, and I refused too.

"I'll make it to the finish line" I said

The paramedics left, and I'm surprised they left me alone since my vision was fading, but it's better now. I looked at the police officer, and the police officer looked at me. I put my hands up.

"I'll tell the story then" I said

"Yeah, sure you will" The police officer said as he put my hand behind my back of cuffed me.

They tried to cuff Alice, but she refused - until she got shocked by a teaser. As I got to the police car, I saw the paramedics with Ava, and I wanted to check on her, but the police officer pulled me with tremendos force into the police car.

I've been in the police station for about an hour, and they have checked on my injuries, since they were small, all they did was help me clean off the dry blood off my face, which was understandable. All of the sudden, I see black curls run into the station. Taylor.

"Has anyone seen Hayley? Hello!" He shouted.

The police officers told him to calm down, and I asked them to confront him, they said yes, but they watched me with extreme caution.

"Taylor, I'm okay" and I hugged him.

"Hayley, I heard what happened. I'm glad you're okay, and you did defned Ava." He said.

"Where did you hear this from?" I whispered to him.

"I overheard" 

"Taylor," I said "You don't need to worry about me. Go to Ava at the New York Hospital for me. Tell her I'm okay and that I hope to see her soon okay?"

"Okay, I'll tell Jeremy as soon as possible. We're both going. We'll try to keep in touch with you and tell her how she is."

"Go!" I said.

The only thing on my mind is Ava. I hope she's okay, I care about her so much, and heck, I wish I could run to her.
