Hayley's POV
Today is finally here, and I get dressed into a pretty cool outfit, I'm ready to see Ava. I have no plans to tell her I like her yet, I just wanna see how tonight goes. I can't wait to see her. I get into my BMW, and drive to her apartment complex. I get into the building, and than I realize I'm late. I gotta run. I ran to the elevator, and one shut right in front of my eyes. I ran up the stairs, all the way to floor 7. I run and luckily I find room 87 quickly. I knock on the door, and she opens it.
Holy shit, she looks great.
"Hayley, you're like, sweating. You okay?"
I didn't wanna tell her that I ran to her, I feel that'd be kinda awkward.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I guess it the weather." I said
"Hayley, it's 33 degress out." Ava said
"Well, this is getting awkward, um, you wanna go now?" I asked
Ava nodded her head. I can't believe I messed up our welcome conversation. Nice one, Hayley. We arrive at the mall, aka, Macy's.
"So, uh, how are you Hayley?" Ava asked.
"I'm okay. So, what do you wanna do?" I said.
"Well, I can't afford anything because of bills, so it's your day to shop."
Oh my. I feel bad again. I didn't know about Ava's money situation, so I decided to buy something for her in secret.
"Then we look around." I said.
Little did Ava know that once I dropped her off at her place, I would go back and get some of the stuff she admired. We looked around the mall, and Ava said she would like to go home, and I got scared. She said that she was very tired. I brought her home, and she didn't even hug me. She said "Bye" and shut the door. Even though I was scared of our friendship. I still went to the mall and bought her the Lana Del Rey album she wanted, and it was called Ultraviolence. I went into my BMW, and tears streamed down my face. Was it something I said? I miss her. I couldn't be left hang like this. I need her in my life. That's it Hayley. I thought. I'm gonna make the moves now. I was angry and upset, I feel like she doesn't care about our friendship anymore. That's when I decided the drive to her house. I parked in a parking space, and I just ran. I ran into a man with papers, and they flew out of his hands, due to how fast I was running.
"Hey! Watch it!" He shouted at me.
I didn't care. I needed to see Ava. I had the Lana album with me, and the hotel worker stopped me.
"What makes you think you can run here? What's your problem?" He asked with an angry tone in his voice.
"I need to see someone. And my problem? My problem is you being in my way. Now excuse me."
The man looked startled. He knew who I was, and he let me pass into the stairwell, and I ran so fast, It felt like I was on floor 5 in two seconds. I ran to floor 87. I pounded on the door. No answer. That's when I decided to make my move. I opened the door. Now, I'm not a creepy stalker, I literally pounded the door for 5 minutes, so I decided to break in. I walked into the apartment. It was very small. It had a kitchen, a dining room, and a living room. That's when I saw her, laying on a sofa that exapanded into a bed. I needed to sneak into the bed with her, without scaring her. And I did. She didn't even hear me lay on the bed. I tapped her shoulder, and there it was She slapped me - so hard that I fell off my bed and screamed myself. She looked down.
"Hayley! Holy shit don't scare me like that!" Ava shouted.
She grabbed my hand and lifted me up onto the bed and hugged me. When she wanted to let go, I pulled her into my arms, and we stayed like that for about 4 more minutes. We decided to lay down and cuddle.
"Hayley, what are doing here?" She asked.
"You seemed out of place at the mall, and I got worried. I couldn't stop thinking about you, so I went to check if you're alright. I care about you so much."
Well, I let that slip.
Ava blushed, and she pulled me closer. She placed her head on my chest, and said:
"Hayley, please stay, don't leave."
I never said I wanted to, and I don't think I ever want to leave. I can't believe Ava wants me to stay, I think that's amazing.
"I will" She said
I smiled. On top of that, later tonight, if I don't fall asleep, I plan to tell Ava I like her. Plan. I don't know how to tell her, and that's okay, because I feel like if you plan it out, you would back out more likely than going unplanned. I wanna be with her, and hopefully it works out..
