Ava's POV
It's a Saturday. No work. I'm a happy girl, but I also have nothing to do today. It's 2pm, and I wonder how I sleep so much. But hey, it's okay. It's not like anything exciting happens in my life anyways. All of the sudden, I get a text from one of my friends, Lauren.
Lauren: Hey, wanna do something tonight with Allison?
Allison was one of my four friends, and my closest friend. I have thought about coming out to her, but I'm always scared of her rejecting that I am a lesbian, even though I know she's not homophobic. I've always had that fear, and it kinda sucks knowing that will always take place, because ever since I realized I was a lesbian, that fear has always gone through my mind when considering coming out to someone. Anyway, I respond with:
Me: Sure, but where? Are Kylie and Jessica joining us?
I met Kylie and Jessica 2 years ago, and they are very kind. Lauren indroduced me to them, and I'm glad she did. I heard my phone go off.
Lauren: I was thinking, maybe the bar? So you could finally get something happenin' ;) And no, Jessica and Kylie can't make it, they have plans with their familes for something, I forget what.
Me: Laur, you know I don't wanna get "somethin' happenin', lol"
Lauren: So, yes or no?
Me: Ugh, sure. What time?
I wasn't excited to go to a bar, I've been there once and I cried in the bathroom, before Allison noticed me and dropped me off at my place. Hopefully, this visit won't end up with me crying my eyes out, because no one will love me, in a bar bathroom.
Lauren: 8:00. Allison will be the mother hen. So, that means you and I can get drunk :)
Allison has always been the mother hen. By the way, mother hen means someone who doesn't get too drunk that they can't drive, like it has to be under the legal limit. I always thought, for Allison being 22, she is very mature for her age. I don't think I've ever seen her drunk to be honest. But hey, Allison is cool not getting drunk and driving us home, because this will be my first time getting drunk. Poor Allison and Lauren.
7:50 PM
I get all ready, my hair is striagthed and I actually wear a skirt (wow, surprsing!) and a nice shirt, along with necklace that has a cresent moon on it. I hear my apartment bell ring, and I open the door. It's Lauren.
"Dang girl, this isn't your style. But hey, you look nice." She said
"Thanks, I wanted to try something different." I said while letting a little chuckle.
"Alright, we should get going, Allison is probably getting impaitent."
We head from floor four too the lobby, and striaght to Alice's Saturn. It wasn't a glamourus car, but it was pretty cool in my opinion. We drive to the bar, and the car ride consisted of Lauren telling Allison and I her sex life (which you don't even wanna know). We arrive, and we enter. It smelled like beer. Like, a very strong scent of beer. But I didn't mind.
"Two shots of vodka please" Lauren asked the bar tender. Allison chatted up this one guy meanwhile. The bartender asked for our ID's. I was 24, and Lauren was 23. He gave us the two shots of vodka. Lauren drank it first, and shouted "Woohoo!" at the top of her lungs. I was hesitant to try the vodka shot at first, since this was gonna be the first alcoholic beverage I have ever tried. I drank it. It was very strong, but had pretty decent taste. Lauren was on her third shot, and I already knew she was drunk as hell. I stuck with one shot, and my vision was getting werid. Wow! I guess I get drunk fast? All of the sudden, some girl bumps into me. I turn around and I see the brightest blue hair.
"Oh shit, sorry," She said "It's just been... A bad day."
"It's okay, I understand" I said
Now, this girl was something else. Her vibe seems so unique, and she has the prettiest eyes I've ever seen. As she walks past me, I realized she had a beanie that said Grow Up in an awesome font. Then I realized. It was Hayley Williams of Paramore. Paramore was one of my favorite bands, and seeing the lead singer made me smile. I could tell she was hiding herself from people, to not let them know she was here. But I knew. I approached her, and I whispered.
"You're.. You're Hayley.. Hayley Williams?"
"Indeed. What's your name?" She asked me
I paused, because my shy nature of meeting new people hit me.
"Ava..."
"Cool name. Ava. That name is actually awesome!"
"Hah, thank you.."
"I can tell you're a shy fellow" Hayley stated.
Shit. I thought. I hated how shy I was, and I wish that personality trait would vanish. But, it never has.
"Yeah, I guess so" I said, scratching the back of my head.
Hayley laughed. She asked the bartender if he had a pen or a napkin, and he said yes. He knew it was Hayley, and it was real mature, because he treated her like a normal person.
"Here" she said. She was writing her number down and put her autogrpah with it. "Something tells me I should get to know you better. So if you're free tomorrow, do you mind going out to dinner with me? It would be awesome if you could go."
"Sure. But it has to be after 4:00. I have work until 3:00. I would have to get ready and stuff. So if you're free at that time, then yes" I said, smiling.
"I am! Awesome. I have to go, but it was nice meeting you. And hey, don't get too drunk. I don't want you throwing up on the Italian I'm getting for you, okay Ava?"
I laughed "Okay"
I saw Hayley walk out the door. Hayley Williams? Wanting to spend time with me? Italian food? Under her pay? Well, I can't let her buy me Italian. We literally just met five minutes ago. I'll bring money along.
Allison was keeping Lauren steady, and as she walked closer too me, I put Hayley's number in my pocket. I didn't want her too know I met Hayley for some reason.
"We should go before Lauren passes out from drinking too much. I agreed. We put Lauren in the back of the car, and she kept mumbling things that made no sense. I sat in the front with Allison, and all I could think of was me and Hayley meeting, and her giving me her number. Allison dropped me off. And I went right to sleep.
Hayley's POV
Fuck, there goes my feelings again. Ava, how that name stuck like glue. Ava. Just thinking of the name makes me smile for some reason. She was goregous, and had amazing blue eyes. All though I'm not ready for a relationship after what happend with Josh, I wanna get to know her. I feel like it's a must. Like, she needs to be in my life. I can't wait to see her. She's just one of those people who just stick out in your mind. And when I first met her I was like damn, Williams! Give her your number. Don't let her slide away. I did what my mind told me. All I could think about was her eyes. Her bright, blue eyes. And it caught me off gaurd. I was at my house, and I figured I should get some sleep, and try not to think of Ava's eyes. But I can't I made sure I had enough money to buy her dinner, and I did. But before the big "4:00 dinner" I need someone's advice, and I know who to call. Jeremy.
