Y/N's P.O.V
I feel a weight on top of me as I wake up, having apparently fallen asleep at some point.
"Ugh, Lilith, it's too early for cuddles" I groan, before then opening my eyes enough to look down to see that it's actually Cherri.
I then pause, hoping that she didn't hear what I just said. But, the badass bomber girl doesn't appear to have heard me, her eye still closed with her chest still rising up and now peacefully. The same chest that's pressing against mine and is more visible from her shirt being lifted up enough to display her bra. How it got that way might be linked to some tossing and turning at night, but I don't want to called a perv if she wakes up and notices. But I'm also wondering how she ended up sleeping on top of me, my mind being a little fuzzy from last night. Oh right, Angel snuck downstairs late last night when Charlie and Vaggie had gone to sleep and came back with a bottle of booze after searching through the hotel's front desk. It was my first time trying a full thing of alcohol. And I'm apparently a lightweight since I can feel a headache coming on.
Perfect.
Biting my lip, I try to ignore the rising throbbing in my head and go to get out of bed. I slip Cherri off of me, the cyclop shifting as she's placed down on the sheets, and pick up my jacket off the floor and putting it back on before going to the door, checking on her and Angel, who is sleeping peacefully in his own bed a foot away from Cherri, briefly once more before leaving the room. Walking down the hallway towards the elevator and stairs, I consider letting my two best friends sleep a little longer while I scrounge us up some breakfast. Surely there's got to be some around here because how else are the Princess and her friend staying fed.
Pressing the button on the elevator, I wait a couple seconds for it to come up from the lobby before it dings and opens its doors. Nobody's inside, thank fuck, so I just saunter in and press the button that makes it go back down to the lobby, trying to an impassive face that doesn't display the annoying pain still present. As the elevator's moving, I think back to Velvet's Voxtagram post we all saw from last night. What could've caused her to do that? And how am I going to deal with it? I don't know and I don't want to think about it now of all times. That girl is too unpredictable to understand, at least right now.
The elevator then stops, having reached the lobby, its doors opening soon after. I nonchalantly step out and look around, the lobby being completely empty this time, devoid of any and all moth girls hiding behind corners ready to spear newcomers. And as my eyes flit about the place, I see a couple of doors on the left of the elevator and front desk that I didn't notice yesterday. Though fighting off exterminators in the morning, passionate sex with the succubus queen, and then a long-running gun fight/car chase with mobsters can make a person pretty tired and not as perceptive. Not feeling any sort of pressure to be at a certain place right now, I shrug my shoulders and decide to explore, seeing as we'll be staying here for a while.
I peek in the first door on the left and it looks to be some sort of game room, which I get the impression of due to the pool table in the middle of the room, high chairs and tables on each side of the room, and a bar counter on the far end. I don't go in, though, and instead walk a bit closer to the other door on the left and lightly push it open, seeing a kitchen somewhat similar to the one Lucifer's mansion had on the other side. Albeit a bit smaller, it doesn't look as poorly maintained as some of the other parts of this hotel does, which I suppose isn't too much at fault of there being only two people regularly living here. But as I'm standing there looking in, a hand lightly taps my shoulder, making my breath hitch and my body jump ever so slightly before I turn around and see that it's only Charlie, dressed in the same formal attire and having on the same warm smile as she did yesterday.
