New Arrivals Bring Great Tidings

~ One Week Later ~

Angel Dust's P.O.V

All of us, including that bitch who is all buddy buddy with Val, are standing in a line, side by side, outside the hotel. We're also standing a bit back, since we're watching the final bits of the reconstruction process the hotel is going through. The princess and her uptight girlfriend are to my immediate right while my gal pal, my second best friend, and the aforementioned bitch are to my immediate left. Cherri didn't like how Velvet wanted to be next to Y/N, so she insisted on being next to him as well to ensure that the Overlord wouldn't try anything. The princess looks so happy and eager that her passion project is getting a nice makeover, the building having scaffolding, cranes, and other building equipment around the exterior. We had to constantly move rooms this past week due to the different levels getting redone, but I didn't mind that much, aside from the fact that Velvet still wanted to bunk in a room that was close to ours. And, credit where it's due, the demons that Velvet hired definitely were/are effective and thorough, since we got to go and see the refurbished floors after they were done. But I suppose that even though the way to make this place look nicer came from someone like her, at least it'll be better for me, Cherri and Y/N to stay in while we hatch our plans to eliminate the VVV's for good.

"As much as I hate to admit it, that Overlord's resources did prove to be worthwhile" Vaggie whispers to Charlie.

"I know, right, Vaggie?" Lucifer's little girl smiles joyously, "We're now closer than ever towards achieving my dream!"

"I'll take that as your 'thank you'," Velvet comments, staring at her phone while the other two girls glance over at her, "I was fully expecting it at some point, but at least now I don't have to waste my time hinting as much."

"Not really a surprise, since any large enough amount of money will get anyone working their asses off" Cherri retorts at her, "Especially since attention whores like yourself get plenty of that on a daily basis."

"Says the girl who wears such clothing that makes it clear she loves showing off her own tits" Velvet casually insults, " You know, you'd fit perfectly in Valentino's industry. And at least then you'd have people who'd pretend to love you instead of having nobody to love you."

The bitch doesn't know that Cherri and Y/N are dating, which I suppose is good so that she doesn't try to be manipulative to break them up, but it still makes my gal pal grit her teeth and clench her fist in anger. But Y/N stealthily takes her hand in an attempt to calm her down enough so that an open fight doesn't break out, even though I kinda wish for something like that. Cherri tempers down a little, giving Y/N a look that's silently begging him for the chance to shove a bomb up her ass, but Y/N lightly shakes his head, making Cherri sigh, keep his hand in hers, and restrain herself.

"Do tell me, though, Velvet" Y/N speaks, the Overlord looking up from her phone and over at him when he says her name, "Did you, by any chance, add anything new to this place that wasn't already there before?"

"I'm glad you asked, because I most certainly did!" Velvet grins, taking on a more happy persona.

"Let me guess, a sex dungeon and a torture chamber?" I snidely add, trying to further imply how much of a psycho she is.

"Huh, that's not a bad idea. And, hey, that'd be right up the alley for a tramp like yourself, so thanks for the suggestion" She calmly fires back while still smiling, anger spiking in my chest, "But, to answer your question, Y/N, I'd be more inclined to show rather than just tell. I can promise it'll be much better that way."

"Well, we can check it out once those workers are done, how about that?" Y/N offers, his tone portraying a sense of kindness while his face reflects a complete lack of desire to do anything with her. Though maybe it's also because he too doesn't like how she's talking to Cherri and I.
